OOTD | So 90s

Top* - Uggbugg
Bandeux top - Bershka
Jeans - New Look
Sandals - Topshop
Socks - Primark
Bag - Ted Baker
Scrunchie - Handmade

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend and indulged in far too much chocolate! I love taking pictures out and about rather than just in my garden when i'm home for the holidays and i took these at one of my favourite places in Plymouth called the Royal William yard, it has beautiful big buildings and has amazing eateries as well all by the sea!

Anyway, Uggbugg sent me this amazing varsity/football style top a few weeks ago and i already own a few tops similar to this but this one stuck out to me because of the lace material used as well as the gorgeous red colour! The lace detail is stunning and looks really sexy from the back as you can see in the above pictures, without it being too revealing and its only £9.99 too, bargain! I'm channeling my inner 90's child with my hair scrunchie and ugly socks and sandals too. I really love this type of style and would never have imagined i would be dressing like this again, fashion really is a funny thing!

What do you think about this outfit? Do you like the 90s look? Do you like lacy tops?

Printed bottoms wishlist!

1. Topshop | Link
2. New Look | Link
3. Boohoo | Link
4. Zara | Link
5. American apparel | Link
6. River island

I am absolutely loving all of the gorgeous printed, bright and colourful trousers and shorts around at the moment, they definitely liven up any outfit. What i love about them is that they are so easy to style as you really don't need to overpower your top half as your bottoms definitely do all the talking! So, here i have picked out the best of the bunch, enjoy!

1. Topshop have some amazing printed trousers online at the moment, i am still besotted with the floral joni jeans but they have still not come online in my size wahh! Anyway, these tropical print ones are amazing, so fruity and summery, how could you not love these?! I think i might get a few stares wearing these in Plymouth though haha.

2. These are the least garish pair from my wishlist but are just as equally beautiful. The tropical theme lives on and i love the pale pastel wash of these shorts, bright/neon tops would look amazing with these too. New Look really do have a great spring/summer collection this year.

3. I am still very much a fan of tie dye and these Boohoo ones are gorgeous! I cant help but think i would be able to do this myself though to an old pair of shorts,it can't be that hard?! They would be totally unique too. These would be perfect for any upcoming festivals!

4. Aren't these trousers just perfect! The skinny fit of them is really flattering and the yellow florals are slightly different to the pinks that have been circulating the shops recently. Zara always get it right with their tailored trousers.

5. After seeing Kavita wearing these shorts at Coachella these firmly fell onto my wishlist. Again these would be ideal for festivals as she demonstrated by wearing them. American Apparel are slightly more expensive than other shops and i have seen similar pairs to this on Ebay a lot cheaper so its worth taking a look.

6. Last up is this intricate pair of shorts from River Island. The Indian detailing is beautiful and so feminine, i love the floaty look to these and they would be perfect with cami tops in the summer.

What do you think of my picks? Do you like printed bottoms? Which are your favourites?

OOTD | Boho playsuit

Playsuit - Urban Outfitters
Sandals - Faith
Necklace - Accesorize
Lips -NYC Shade 4

Happy Good Friday everyone! Who else is loving this sunshine?! Although, looks can be deceptive as its still pretty chilly in that wind, but what better excuse to get my favourite playsuit out! As well as the pastel trend which you all know i am OBSESSED with, the boho trend is definitely my second favourite trend for Spring/summer. Its also the preferable look for festivals and like. This playsuit also fits in with the floral trend and i think it has such a pretty tea dress look. I also adore the cut out back to it, making it slightly different to a standard playsuit. Playsuits are my favourite outfit in the summer just because they are so easy to throw on!

These sandals are from a couple of years ago from Faith but i barely got any wear out of them, probably because they are so flat, its honestly like walking on a piece of paper in them haha! They fit in with the boho trend perfectly though and go really well with this playsuit so my feet will just have to suffer!

Thanks for reading! I hope you all have a lovely Easter weekend whatever you are up to and get lots of yummy chocolate!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like playsuits? How do you curl your hair?

Boux Avenue haul

Boux-avenue
Underwear shopping is definitely my favourite thing after clothes shopping but its not something i always get a lot of time to do, i suppose i neglect that side of shopping more than anything. After losing a lot of weight it also meant that barely any of my underwear fitted, i just held onto the hope that they would fit again, but i am aware how bad it is to wear ill fitting underwear! So i was utterly shocked and excited when i found out that i won Fashion-train's giveaway of £150 to spend at Boux Avenue, it really could not have come at a better time!! Not only that, i have seriously struggled to find shops which stock 30inch bras, even the likes of La senza don't stock those sizes, so i could not wait to do some serious underwear shopping with the voucher!

Boux Avenue ooze luxury and after they opened the store in Southampton last summer i hadn't previously had a chance to have a look at what they sell. They are a very up market high street underwear shop, but at what i would call reasonable prices for the quality you get. I love how the underwear is displayed neatly in draws which makes it so much easier to browse. On this occasion i bought what i wanted online, their website is also really easy to navigate and find your size. They also sell gorgeous nightwear, gift and home accessories online which are perfect for yourself or for presents. Anyway, on to the exciting bit with what i purchased..

Firstly the packaging is second to none. It is evident that there has been a lot of thought and care put into the packaging of this! From the luxurious box it comes in to the carefully placed underwear wrapped in delicate pink tissue paper, they even place in the box fake rose petals which means your underwear arrives smelling delicious, they can also be reused in your underwear draw and the smell doesn't fade! I think this is such a nice touch and packaging really does make or break whether i will use a service again and this is a 100% yes from me, i was very impressed!

*Annabelle floral balconette bra and briefs | Link
This is my ultimate favourite matching set and after seeing how beautiful it was on Fashion Train's blog i had to purchase it! Pretty florals are one of my favourite things this spring/summer! Matching sets are a dream, i wish i had a different one for each day of the week, if your foundations are good it means that whatever else you're going to wear you will feel good in too!

Another matching set that i fell in love with! Monochrome will always share a special place in my heart and i also adore  the lacy detailing on it with the netted material.

Seeing as pastels are my favourite this century i couldn't miss an opportunity to get some bras in my favourite colours too! I love the pretty lace detailing on these too, they are so delicate and feminine!

Last up from my haul was yet another lacy bra (obsessed)! Even though i love having bright colourful and patterned underwear we all need a black bra that will go with everything! I am suitably kitted up now until i delve my eyes back onto the site again!

I also had to add these to my haul too, aren't they the prettiest?! I haven't even decided if i'm going to use these in my bath yet because they are displayed so beautifully! But if i was, i'm sure it would be the best bath ever!

Thanks for reading! What do you think of my underwear haul? Do you like Boux Avenue? What are your favourite underwear shops?
