November favourites
Wow, this month has gone so fast which i'm rather happy about as it means its nearly Christmas yey who is excited?! I haven't had much time for my blog this week as i have so many deadlines due in the next few weeks, so bare with me! Anyway, here is what i have been loving this month!
Loreal Paris Elvive nourish and shimmer highlights shampoo- Believe me i get through a lot of shampoo, with swimming training most days and having a lot of hair i need to find something that's very moisturising and i know when i find it. I have come back to this brand a few times now and i love the lather you get from this product,i always think that's a good indication as to whether its moisturising enough! As well as the nourishment of this product it is also meant to enhance your higlighted hair which it really does with my hair,it almost looks too shiny nowadays! Overall it a great nourishing shampoo and it smells lovely!
Oleo Argan oil - I did a full review on this here a few weeks ago and i'm still loving it! I occasionally use it in my hair when it needs it but i prefer using this as a moisturiser as it really sinks deep into the skin and you still feel moisturied hours later!
Soap & Glory The Scrub of your life & The Righteous Butter - I received both of these products in the relax station set for my birthday and beforehand i had never really used Soap & Glory products which i don't understand as their whole range is amazing! Firstly, the smell of both of these products is heavenly, its such a luxurious scent and feels so nice to apply after a bath or shower. I find the scrub makes my skin super smooth afterwards and applying the butter straight after helps to lock the moisture in. The righteous butter is one of the most moisturising butters i have used and despite the price of around £10 a pot i would definitely repurchase this!
Bourjois delice de poudre bronzing powder - I was in need of a new bronzer and i picked this up on 3 for 2 in Boots a couple of weeks ago. I love the colour of this bronzer and i find its highly pigmented, although i have to be careful that i don't apply too much as it can look quite dirty and unnatural. If i blow the excess off the brush before and then apply it it looks great for contouring!
Bourjois healthy mix serum - I'm fed up of never finding a foundation that suits my combination skin and struggling to find the right colour to suit my skin tone so i opted for 53 in the healthy mix serum after hearing really great things about it. The honey colouring of it is a bit different to what i usually wear but its gives me a really nice healthy colour and i find it gives me a subtle dewy look without it being too oily, although i do find that my face can resemble an oil slick by the end of the day if i don't wear powder! But for now its my favourite foundation until i get my hands on the coveted Nars Sheer Glow!

#southwestbloggersmeet
On Saturday i was lucky enough to attend my first bloggers event which was the #southwestbloggersmeet which was held in Exeter. Firstly, i want to thank Liza Prideaux of glambeautys and Kerry Dyer of livedwithlove for organising this event and for all of the hard work that they put into it. It clearly showed and everyone really did have such a great time so thank you!
As it was my first event i didn't really know what to expect and was somewhat nervous yet excited at the prospect of it! But i had the best time, It was so nice to finally meet some of the bloggers who write the blogs that i love and lovely to chat with like minded people that share the same interests everyone i met was so lovely and my nerves quickly subsided! As well as lots of chit chat with all the lovely bloggers there was also a Lush stall showcasing some of their fab Christmas products and letting you try out some of them for yourself. Pearlys Ltd were also there which is a provider of at home and in clinic teeth whitening in the UK. I hadn't actually heard of this brand before and i was so impressed with their products, there will be more information on them on the blog soon!
There were also lots of gorgeous raffle prizes including enrapture curlers,a beautiful prom dress, hair care products nail varnishes and more! I was lucky enough to win a body spray and a blue hair spray which i cant wait to try out haha! As well as that we were given the most generous and best goody bag i have ever seen which you can see for yourself below in my pictures!
Here are some pictures from the event which show in more detail what we got up to!

OOTD | Fur Hat
I hope you're all having a lovely weekend! I am visiting home this weekend and i am loving being back, its nice to have a few chill out days with all the university work i have had recently as well as home comforts such as a bath! 2 months without baths and lush bath bombs is too long! Im also off to the south west bloggers meet today! Its my first event so I'm super excited/nervous at the same time, there will definitely be a blog post up on it later this week!
Running with the fur theme this week is this gorgeous mink fur hat that i picked up from a flea market in Finland for 10 euros, its very old but in such good condition. I don't usually like real fur but in Finland it was something that most people wore as you really need something that you know will keep you warm! Its definitely got SO cold here recently so its very appropriate to wear again!
I picked up my first turtle neck sweater from primark last week and i love it! They are all now in the sale for only £3 so i think I'm going to have to go back and purchase it in more colours!
