Holiday Lookbook: #7

Top - DIY
Shorts - Zara
Necklace - River Island
Bunny ears bag - ASOS
Sandals - Topshop

So rather sadly this is the last in my holiday Lookbook series! I really am looking forward to shooting some OOTD's again though when my new camera arrives! I wore this outfit when I was in Athens for the day, it couldn't have been any hotter if it tried and the acropolis provided no shade at all which was quite unbearable! Anyway, I had to wear something that would be really cool to wear. Of course I had to wear the top from my DIY co-ord again which I absolutely love, seeing as I picked the fabric and made it myself there isn't anything i'm not going to like about it. It goes without saying that it looks perfect with the white lace shorts. These were from Zara but i have seen so many copies of these on eBay for a lot cheaper which I wish I had known before, although they probably take about a month to arrive if they're from China! I had to team it with my cute bunny ears bag which was perfect for carrying my camera and phone, I believe they still have the black one available on ASOS which is in the sale,go go go!

I really hope you have enjoyed my holiday Lookbook series, do let me know if you liked it and which your favourite look was? I'm just going to have to book another holiday now to do another series like this!

Holiday Lookbook: #6 Tropical co-ord

Co -ord* - ffomo
Heels* - Peacocks
Clutch - New Look
Necklace - River Island

I wore this co-ord along to the Lauren Pope event but i felt like i needed to give this a blog post of its own! Since about February i realised i was in love with co-ords and continued to profess my love of them for months without actually owning one!! I was being far too picky for sure, but it was quickly decided after i spotted this one on the ffomo website that this was the one for me, they also have this in a lime green colour which is just as nice. The fit is perfect and what i just love about co-ords is the versatility to wear them a few different ways and mismatch with other items. I might be biased but i also love my DIY co-ord hehe!

On the cruise i attended a long hair braiding class which was so interesting as i picked up some ideas for plaits that i hadn't even seen before but looked so professional and just wow! I just wish i was able to plait my own hair but with long hair and short arms its mission impossible. Luckily i dragged my mum along and she practiced this one on me,not bad for a first time huh?

There is just one installment left in my Holiday Lookbook series now which makes me sad as i need another holiday already *sob*. But my travel diary will begin next week instead yey! Anyway, i hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

What do you think of this co-ord? Do you like co-ords? Do you like plaiting hair and do you have any tips for plaiting your own hair?

Holiday Lookbook: #5 Cruise Formal Night

Dress - New Look
Heels* - Peacocks
Clutch - Biba
Bracelet* - Sparkling Jewellery

Even after wearing this beautiful dress I still cannot believe it came from one of the concessions within New Look! When i was on the look out for formal dresses for the cruise I would never have thought that New Look would come up trumps. Cruise formal nights are my favourite thing in life!! It allows you to dress up as outrageously glamorous as possible knowing that everyone else is doing the same thing too, i also love checking out what everyone else is wearing whilst i'm eating my dinner!

As I was saying this was from New Look and it only set me back £35, it definitely looks much more expensive than it is. This aqua blue colour is one of my favourites for summer and i love how the fabric is separated with the embellishments on the waist and on the one shoulder making it really eye catching. If you've followed me for long enough you will have worked out that i'm a total magpie to fluffy things!! This Biba clutch has made it onto two cruises now and i always get compliments about it when i use it, making the small investment in it last year totally worth it and justifiable!

There is also still a few days left to enter my Giveaway to win an AngelEye dress! You can enter here.

What do you think of this dress? What would you wear to a cruise formal night? Do you like fluffy things?

Holiday Lookbook: #4 Tropical playsuit

crusade-clothing
tropical-print-playsuit
Topshop-white-sandals
Playsuit* - Crusade Clothing
Necklace - River Island
Bag - H&M
Sandals - Topshop
Sunglasses* - Ice Watch

Crusade Clothing sent me this gorgeous playsuit a while back but the weather was never nice enough to wear it out in the day so my holiday was the perfect opportunity to get some wear out of it. The playsuit is a little out of my comfort zone with the bright pattern but i actually really like it,the material is so lightweight so i still kept cool in it despite the boiling hot weather in Mykonos. I teamed it with my matching white glasses and sandals to let my playsuit take centre stage! Mykonos was my favourite port of call on my holiday (blog post to follow soon!) and again like Santorini the perfect white backgrounds were the perfect back drops for outfit photos!

Crusade Clothing don't stock this playsuit anymore but there are lots of other affordable pieces on their site.

What do you think of this playsuit? Is it something you would wear? Have you shopped with Crusade Clothing before?
