OOTD | Cropped trench coat

Top - H&M
Cropped jacket - Tommy Hilfiger
Skirt - New Look kids
Necklace - Bik Bok
Shoes - Primark
Bag - Day a Day

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, its crazy how fast Monday flies around hey?! I bought this cropped trench coat from Tommy Hilfiger about 3 years ago and what seemed like a lot of money at the time to part with has been totally worth it, and its been such a great investment. I have been bringing this out every spring because its not too hot to wear but it also keeps me warm with the chilly winds we are having at the moment. Trench coats are my ultimate staple and having a cropped version is a bit different and unique to the standard and an item like this will never pass out with the other trends. I also picked up this top from H&M last week which i love,it looks Parisian and the knit texture of it is lovely, it makes a nice change from some of the thin fabrics you usually get from there. I love this look especially because it would also be suitable for work as its quite smart. The top would also look great casually with some black jeans and big sunnies! Now the weather is warming up a bit i cant wait to start wearing some of my more summery outfits yey!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like trench coats? What are your wardrobe stables for spring?

OOTD | Pastels & polka dots

Top - Primark (old)
Skirt* - Peacocks
Sandals - Topshop
Necklace - New Look
Watch - Michael Kors

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend whatever you're up to! Mine will be spent doing a bit of shopping and with a lot of uni work, i have just a few tweaks to go on my dissertation now though, so i am very happy that after 6 long months it is almost done! After loving this Peacock midi skirt so much and finding out how much it actually suited my height i paired it with my favourite pastel top from Primark which was unfortunately last summers stock (sorry!). I love how the polka dots on the collar practically pair the ones on the skirt, it looks like i have tried a lot harder styling it like that than i have. I also feel like some kind of 1960s house wife wearing this and combining it with milkmaid braids haha. I still cant work out whether they actually suit me but i'm going with it as it makes a change from my usual (very boring) pony tail!

Thanks for reading! What do you think of this outfit? Do you like midi skirts? Have you tried milk maid braids before or something similar?

OOTD | Aztec tribal jumpsuit

Jumpsuit* - Uggbugg
Belt - Vintage
Necklace - Accesorize & my own pendants
Sandals - Juju

Last week this amazing jumpsuit arrived from Uggbugg who are a new online retailer selling some amazing clothing which are also at amazingly low prices, this jumpsuit in particular is only £14.99! I must say that this is something i normally wouldn't wear and its certainly a bit out of my comfort zone but i'm so glad i've had the push to wear something like this! I have always loved jumpsuits, they are so effortlessly easy to wear and accessorise and it actually makes me look so tall, which i am definitely not! The African inspired aztec tribal print is so eye catching and i was living in neon prints last summer so its fair to say i have fallen in love with this beauty. This is definitely going to be coming in my suitcase on holiday this year, the fabric is so cool and the fit is loose so its perfect, it also wouldn't be a miss on clubbing holidays! Uggbugg also have some gorgeous other jumpsuits like this if neon colours aren't really your thing!

What do you think of this jumpsuit? Do you like jumpsuits? Have you started wearing clothes out of your comfort zone?

OOTD | Pleated shorts

Top - H&M
Shorts - Topshop
Sandals - Topshop
Clutch bag - Primark
Hair scrunchie* - Xtras | Link
Nails - Models own speckled eggs Duck

Today is the first day it has been sunny for about 3 days so i have finally managed to get some outfit pictures yey! If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that i bought some of these items that i am wearing a while back. I fell in love with these pastel pleated shorts as they were in my favourite pastel colour and i really don't own any smart shorts, i also like how it could look like its a skirt. I must admit its probably still a bit cold to wear them (major goosebumps) but i couldn't wait any longer, i hate having new stuff just sitting in my wardrobe, don't you? The shorts will look great with any kind of white slogan tee and of course stripes, it makes the outfit more casual and gives a Parisian style to it without trying too hard.

Seriously, this clutch bag was the greatest find of 2014, i still cant even believe it was from Primark and for only £4 too! It is going to be my summer essential as it goes with literally all of my pastel clothing as well as adding some colour to a black outfit! I'm also wearing another beautiful hair scrunchie from the online store Xtras. I have always loved daisies whether they are in jewellery, on clothes or for your hair, they look so pretty with the pastels and this will be coming with me on all of my holidays this year to add some happiness to any outfit!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like pleated shorts? What are your summer essentials?
