I don't think you could get a more zebra inspired outfit you tried here! I tested out my new canon camera on these pictures last Friday and I am absolutely loving the result, I still need to have a big play around with the settings though to see which ones work best for the locations! Do let me know what you think of them below :)

I just love this shift dress, its so nice to wear something loose fitting for once and it's definitely needed after the heat that we have had. Monochrome stripes are an effortless look in my mind and never look outdated. Loving how my cute new primark watch matches perfectly with it. It was only £3, such a great bargain even if it doesnt last long. I have been after a cheap watch for ages on occasions that I don't want to take my Michael Kors out so it was the perfect watch for me. Primark have some amazing other watches like this too, so for only £3 i might have to get another one or two...

Charnos Hosiery footsies!

Ever get that feeling where you really want to wear a pair of shoes but you're stuck with the dilemma of having to put up with freezing feet or to wear visible socks which completely ruin the look?! Yup, we have all been there when it gets to winter, I hate having to pack my dolly shoes away in the winter as I have never found a solution to the problem, until Charnos footsies came along! I love the added benefit that they have been treated with Sanitized Actifresh finish meaning that you dont have to worry about smelly feet after a run or gym session!

As you can see no chance of your socks being spotted in the gym!

The ballerina pumps footsies are definitely my favourite of the range. As  I said previously I always want to wear my dolly shoes in the winter but i'm not brave enough to face the cold or wear unsightly socks with them. I have seen versions to these in the shops before but have never given them a go. They are so silky soft to wear and it doesn't even feel like you're wearing anything. My favourite out of the two has to be the footsies with the low cut heel grip as I really suffer from blisters there and especially when I am breaking in new shoes. These have given all of my shoes that I can no longer wear because of how much they rub a new lease of life, I cant believe I haven't used something like this sooner! For only £3 they are definitely worth it in comparison to the amount of plasters that you end up buying over a life time!

As you can see they are completely discrete and perfect under any type of dolly shoes!

Charnos footsies for peep toes* - £3.00

These footsies are my favourite looks wise, i absolutely love the lace detail I would definitely wear these as just normal socks! I don't actually own any peep toe shoes,how am I even a fashion blogger?! *sobs* but this gives me an excuse to quite happily go out and buy a pair and test these out! Once again I hate having cold feet in the winter and as with peep toe heels or any heels for that matter they always end up rubbing you by the end of the night so these are a great solution to those problems!

I would fully recommend these footsies to anyone! My favourite pair has to be the ballerina pumps with the extra heel grip because lets face it we all have a pair of shoes that we absolutely love but can't wear because they rub the back of our heels so much, i will be wearing these regardless to whether they are ballerina pumps or not as they are such a great idea that I haven't seen anywhere else before! All of the footsies range are completely affordable and well worth a try!

Can a swim suit be any dreamier?! Missguided are on point with their body suits this summer I think I need every single one! The flamingo one was used in their summer campaign and my love of the beautiful animals meant that it was getting purchased. A few people have asked about the material of it and yes you can wear this to go swimming, its just the type of swimming cossie material that you get. However, I will be definitely wearing this as a bodysuit as well. I just cannot get enough of the colours and the gorgeous scoop back, the padded bra section means you don't have to worry about purchasing a backless bra and the added worry of it going see through without one. Missguided have got it completely covered, for only £11.99 plus a student discount it is the biggest steal this summer and I cannot wait to be wearing this for summers to come!

I'm really into my rings recently too, I just think it makes your whole ensemble look more polished! I picked up the pretty stars and moon ring from Mykonos, whilst the midi rings are both from Forever 21 and River Island! 

With the beautiful evenings we have been having I also headed down to the sea front for the evening to snap some pictures and I really like the overall effect,the lighting was just perfect! It's going to look even better soon with my new camera that I purchased on Wednesday (Canon 1200d). I cannot wait to share some of the pictures with you eek! Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you get up to! I am off to Bristol for the weekend to meet up with James, so expect a post on that sometime next week!

Life update | University life and beyond

As you may know I recently finished my final year at university, I can't even believe where the last three years of my life have gone?! It truly has been an amazing whirlwind of time. I'm still finding myself each night wondering what work I have to next before realising that I never have to do any again, long gone are the sleepless nights and stress induced spots (See pic above!!), hallelujah! I thought it would be nice to round up my time at university and what I plan to do next, I do like to keep you all in the loop with my life aside of blogging! I studied International Business Management at Southampton Solent University and in hindsight getting Solent as my second choice of University was probably the best thing that ever happened to me,well worth the many initial tears on results day! I really do believe in such a thing as fate! 

I had never even been to Southampton beforehand to check out the university, city centre and the surrounding areas so it really was all alien to me when I arrived and realised this is where I would be living for the next three years! Unfortunately for me I didn't get a place in halls but the university laid on some really good find a home days which is where I found 12 other people to live with in a HUGE house right in the centre of town,perfect for obsessed shoppers like me but very bad for the bank account. The first year flew by and it was mostly spent partying and sleeping off hangovers, oh and studying of course.. My course group was very small unlike other courses so we had a really tight knit group of friends that did a lot together, it also made the whole experience at uni really enjoyable, the small class sizes were also brilliant for interaction with the lecturers. As for the accommodation, living with so many people of course had many downsides as you can imagine, but I'm still grateful for the experiences that I had and that I met my boyfriend in that house,clearly fate working its magic again! 

My second year was without a doubt the most amazing year and experience of my entire life and it will always be something that I look back on with extreme fondness. Because my course was International Business Management we had the option in the second year to stay at Solent and do half a year placement or to study abroad for the year. Without thinking I packed my bags and said good bye to England for a year and embarked on my year living in Finland! The whole experience was just phenomenal, the university was fantastic, the people I lived with are still my best friends and Finland will always be referred to as my second home now.

So this brings me onto my final year. As anyone knows who has been to university it's stressful, there is lots of work but there is still room for plenty of fun! I haven't actually written about my achievements on my blog but you may have seen me announce it on twitter/Instagram that I am proudly graduating with a first class honours woo hoo! I have had a really tough year and I was 99.9% sure that I had achieved an amazing 2:1 that I wasn't even eager to read my results in the morning that they came out. The shock of it made it even better and I still think that it's only just sinking in now, my graduation is not until November which is a while off but I'm already looking forward to getting dressed up for the day and seeing my uni friends once again. I really am so grateful to have had the experience that I did at Southampton Solent, the university was all that I could have wished for,the year abroad and the experiences and friendships that I made along the way. It may be gone but never forgotten! But I'm more than glad to wave goodbye to student accommodation, and of course I missed having a bath way too much! Nothing beats having those home comforts back.

Now that uni is over it's time to enter the real world,no more watching TV box sets all day and spending all my student loan on clothes! I was always aware of the job situation post uni and being a graduate does not make you instantly employable. I'm currently in something which I call catch 22, I'm too experienced for some jobs yet I don't have any experience for graduate jobs. They ask for at least 2 years experience  for some of them which is madness as I've had next to no time or any opportunity to gain experience alongside my course, other wise I would have done so in a heartbeat. I really do see the attraction of work placement years. I'm looking for a job in the marketing/social media sector which really is my dream career, I'm not going to let the endless applications and rejections dampen my spirits, the key is definitely to remain positive and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is comfort in knowing that I am definitely not the only one in the same boat. Whatever is out there I am completely ready for it and armed with my first class honours degree waiting to make a difference,but fingers crossed i'm employed by graduation!
