OOTD | Bomber Jacket Season

T-shirt - Zara
Bomber Jacket - Stradivarius
Mom Jeans - Topshop
Shoes* - RocketDog

Bomber season is my favourite season, aka the transition from spring to summer and summer to autumn, and there's really nothing I love more about transitional season wear than the bomber jacket. It's a more lightweight and thinner layer than a coat, and it feels much more justifiable to buy a bomber jacket in at least 10 different styles each year. It's true that I'm completely smitten with this Stradivarius bomber, so much so that I wore it 3 DAYS in a row last week, and it's very rare these days that I even seem to wear anything twice (so bad I know!). I picked this up when we docked in Barcelona on my cruise, it was under 30 euros and it's just perfection. I love the pastel pink and white combination with the floral embroidery on the front, it looks great with a laid back look like this, or with a dress. Bomber jackets are one of the most versatile pieces of a wardrobe that can help to finish any look off, whether you're heading out for a casual brunch or an evening out!

I'm also such a fan of the embroidered denim jackets that are currently doing their rounds, I'm just waiting for a Primark and Asos one that I've been lusting after from their press days to be released, so no doubt you'll spot them on my blog over the next couple of months!

Are you a fan of bomber jackets? Do you like Stradivarius? Do you like embroidered denim jackets?

OOTN | Cool & Casual

Carnival-Vista-Cruise
Dress - Topshop
Clutch bag - Topshop
Heels - Next

I've finally got around to posting my final outfit from the cruise and I'm ready to focus on some fresh new content now, I guess it won't be long until the boots and chunky knit jumpers are back out, I definitely don't know how I feel about that... I feel like summer has already been and gone so I probably won't get a chance to wear this dress again. This Topshop number was an instant hit with my holiday wardrobe, stylish, casual and cool. Long gone are the days that I covet after skin tight and short dresses, there's nothing that looks as good as a floaty dress that can be tied together perfectly with some elongating court shoes and pretty accessories.

If I was at home I would have probably worn this with black accessories, there was only so many pairs of shoes I could stuff in my suitcase for a cruise, so needs must and I had to trade them in for dusty pink accessories, but I think it kinda works? The holiday lookbooks may be over, but I'm already desperate to get away on another holiday!

In other news, a few people have been asking me whether I'm going to share pictures of my cruise with you, the answer is YES! I promise that a post all about my cruise will be up in the next week, I can't wait to share all the pictures with you! But if you can't wait in the meantime, you can check out my P&O cruises review from last year!

What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of dusty pink accessories?

MTV Crashes Plymouth With Boohoo

MTV-crashes-Plymouth
A couple of weeks ago when an email winged its way into my inbox from Boohoo asking if I'd like to take over their snapchat and twitter for the evening at MTV Crashes Plymouth I honestly could not believe my luck. It's probably been one of my favourite/coolest blogging opportunities to date and I can't thank them enough for inviting me for the evening. Boohoo has been a favourite brand of mine since I was about 16, so to me this was kind of a big deal!! This was the third year that MTV Crashes had arrived in Plymouth, it's usually a 2 day thing with different acts on both nights. I headed down last Thursday for the first night where the main headlining acts were Jonas Blue, Jess Glynne and Rudimental. It's safe to say I was pretty excited, and if you didn't manage to catch their twitter or snapchat story for the evening here's a sneak peek at some of the action from the evening!

When we arrived at the gates on Thursday, I never in a million years thought the tickets would be for VIP too, ahhhh! The evening got better from the minute we stepped in and the whole VIP experience made the whole evening that much better, think no skanky portaloos to use and not having anyone sweaty pushing into you for the entire evening!
MTV-crashes-Plymouth
The VIP section was just off from the main stage and you even had a great view of the stage from the bar/food area of VIP, it was the perfect escape from the rain too, are you even really in Plymouth if it doesn't rain?!

The Devon Vintage Ice Cream Van was serving the VIPs all evening, is there really anything better than free ice cream?! The concept of the ice cream portable van is just so cute too, I could imagine wanting something like this at my future wedding!

As if the VIP area couldn't get any better, there was a hot air balloon bar! I repeat, a hot air balloon bar! What a fantastic concept, it looked so pretty in the evening when it was lit up by the fairy lights and the flame.

It turns out that VIP's and posh people in general like their pimms, if I wasn't tee total I would have definitely been joining in with a glass, it's such a summery taste and it makes such a pretty picture too!

It was then time to head out to hear one of the first acts of the evening which was Jonas Blue, I am literally obsessed with the song Fast Car so I really enjoyed the set. There was a section to the side of the main crowd which was cornered off for the VIP's and I literally had the most perfect view, without having to barge my way through to get a glimpse of the stage. It definitely improved my whole experience of the evening as I can't stand being crushed and not being able to see!

Playsuit* - Boohoo
Heels* - Boohoo
Sunglasses - Primark
Boohoo kindly kitted myself and my friend out in Boohoo clothing for the evening which was so nice of them! I picked the most beautiful floral playsuit, it had cold shoulders, and a gorgeous lace up detail down the front, and it wasn't a pig to take off like most playsuits are! I also picked the comfiest, yet prettiest pair of heels ever, I love the chunky wedge and lace up detail. It was the perfect outfit for the evening as it was still fairly warm, and luckily I brought a mac with me for the few showers that we had during the evening!

It was then time for my two favourite line ups for the evening that were Jess Glynne and Rudimental. Rudimental had to be my favourite act of the evening, I'm such a fan of their songs anyway and the whole atmosphere was amazing. It literally was such an amazing evening that I'll always remember! I can't wait to see what acts will be headlining for next years, I just hope it will be coming back to Plymouth again!

But of course, the main point of the evening was my twitter & snapchat takeover for Boohoo which I absolutely loved. I love being creative on snapchat and had so much fun documenting the evening, it was such an honour to be given the responsibility to post from their accounts for the evening and I'd just like to say another huge THANK YOU to Boohoo again, you're the best! The snapchat story may now be long gone, but the memories and pictures that I do have will last a lifetime! If you want to see more from the evening you can also check out my review of the evening over on Boohoo's Stylefix magazine, read it here!

Did you go to MTV Crashes Plymouth this year? Do you like listening to live music? What do you think of my outfit for the event?

OOTD | Ruffles & Barbie Pink Mules

Top - H&M
Skirt - New Look
Mules - Office
Sunglasses - Primark

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I've recently been diagnosed with asthma, after feeling unwell for quite a while and the last week has been such a struggle, so I was happy that this weekend I at least managed to get out and get some outfit pictures for the blog! Even if the rest of my weekend was a super lazy one, I think we sometimes need a bit of time out to do nothing when our lives can get so busy!

I've been meaning to shoot this shirt and mules for quite sometime, I mean how could I not share these beauties with you? I spotted this H&M shirt as a long sleeved version in the winter and I was gutted that I hadn't picked it up, so when I realised they were doing a sleeveless version I knew it had to be mine. The collar/pattern/style is all but perfect, I also feel like a Victorian housewife wearing it, especially teamed with a halo braid! It's definitely not everyone's cuppa tea but I think it suits my style down to a tee. With fairly muted tones throughout the outfit, my barbie pink mules from Office add the nicest pop of colour to the outfit. I have wanted mules for as long as  can remember, but my fear of not being able to walk in them put me off. They're actually incredibly easy to walk in and I never think they're going to slip off my feet, but just look at them, they're probably the most gorgeous pair of shoes I own (after my Dune glittery brogues ofc)!

What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of mules? Do you like this style of shirt?
