OOTD | Hair scrunchies

Top - Jack Wills
Denim Jacket - Topshop
Jeans - Bershka
Sandals - Topshop
Hair Scrunchie* - Xtras | Link

I bring you yet another pastel outfit today haha! I love coming home from uni for the holidays as i always end up finding clothes that i had forgotten about. Especially this peplum top from Jack Wills, i would never even think about spending so much on clothes like this now but i must admit it is great quality and you cant buy anything the same elsewhere. I love the lilac pastel and floral pattern and it fits in with the trends so well this Spring/Summer. I am also loving hair scrunchies this year and i am so glad they have come back into fashion, Xtras kindly sent me over a few of their hair scrunchies which are gorgeous and even better that they are only £1.99 each which is marginally cheaper than stores such as Topshop. You will definitely see the other scrunchies popping up in other outfit posts in the future! Xtras also specialise in their own range of popular hair extensions and have recently launched their own hair accessories range which you can view here! If you follow me on Instagram (NicoleLsage) you will have seen that i picked up these amazing sandals from Topshop last week which i am head over heels in love with! I originally wanted the New Look heeled sandals similar to this but after waiting 2 weeks for a size 3 to come in stock i gave up and found these beauties instead, i think they're going to be my staple shoes this summer!

On a different note after much deliberation i will be posting a very personal post tomorrow, its taken a lot of courage to write it but its something that i want people to know more about and in a hope to reach out to others going through the same thing, i hope you can support me! Anyway, thanks for reading!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like Jack Wills? Do you like wearing hair scrunchies?

OOTD | Glam Tunic

Amber Tunic* - Sunset Chic
Jeans - Topshop
Sandals - Juju

With summer holidays just around the corner now i have been working at expanding my summer wardrobe and deciding what i need! I have always loved Kaftans and tunics because they are perfect for the beach as a glamorous cover up but are also great for a cool outfit during the day, they are so versatile as they can be dressed up or down according to the occasion. This gorgeous Tunic is from Sunset Chic who are a fairly new online shop who sell the most gorgeous items which are perfect for summer holidays, they sell many more glam tunics like this, as well as kaftans, dresses and accessories all which are perfect for beach season! The colours in the tunic are amazing and it will look so glam on the beach, the embellishment around the v neck is beautiful, anything that is pink and jewelled is a winner in my eyes! As you can see it was really rather windy when i took these pictures yesterday haha, i think they make great action shots though! Here's to hoping we get some beautiful and hot weather this summer!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like wearing tunics in the summer? Have you started purchasing clothes for the summer?

OOTD | Milk maid braid

Dress - Topshop
Jeans - H&M
Bag - Asos
Socks - Topshop
jelly sandals - Primark
Sunglasses - Urban Outfitters
Nails - Models own hyper gel cornflower gleam

I bought this dress/top from Topshop last summer and am still obsessed with the colour and detailing of it, i usually wear this as a dress in the summer as its fairly short but it definitely wasn't warm enough to do that the other day so i wore my white skinny jeans with it and it definitely works as a top too! I'm trying to make the most out of the clothes i do have in my wardrobe before buying a load more because there are so many things i think I've only worn once which is such a waste! Nothing compares to new clothes though hey? I'm also LOVING the new hyper gel range from models own, they have a super shiny finish and they last for quite a few days without the damage or hassle of getting gels done! Anyone else tried them?

Having long hair i really should make more effort with it than i normally do as i usually just shove it up in a pony but i love pretty plaits and braids and so this was my first attempt at a milk maid braid after seeing a video of Zoe London doing it on Instagram, i had to have a go as it looked so easy! I am so pleased with the outcome and surprised that it stayed up all day, this will be a great hairstyle in the summer with the warmer weather as it keeps it out of your face all day. However, i think i need to work on tidying up the presentation of it at the back! But its not bad for a first attempt! What do you think?

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like pastels? Do you like milk maid braids?

OOTD | Panelled top

Jacket - Topshop
Mesh top* - Peacocks | Here
Shorts - Topshop
Tights - Primark
Necklace -Topshop
Boots* - Bank

Hi lovelies! I hope youve all been enjoying the lovely sunny weather that we had over the weekend, it certainly was a pleasant surprise from the months of cold weather that we have had. It also gave me the opportunity to ditch the winter coat and wear my favourite cropped jacket from Topshop that i picked up last year. I am loving this mesh/panelled top from Peacocks, its so simple but it makes a change to just a standard black top, i also recently purchased a similar dress like this from Missguided which i am obsessed with, it lets you show a bit of skin while it still looks classy! I've also got a bit bored of pastels for the moment so i got out my next favourite trend which is velvets, regardless as to whether they are still in or not they will always have a place in my heart. I love the texture and oxblood colour of them and they really go well with the monochrome jacket!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like mesh cut outs in clothing?

OOTD | Trench coat

Trench coat - Jovonnista
Top - Zara
Skirt - Primark
Boots* - Bank

Having a trench coat is a staple item to any wardrobe and something that i have wanted for ages. When i was in London last week i had a look in the Oxford street Topshop store in the boutique section where they sell lots of different brands under one roof. I found this amazing trench style coat in the Jovonnista section, i actually love their range of clothes and already own a gorgeous summer maxi dress from there. The coat was £75 so i didn't pick it up but when i was looking in the sale section i found my size and it was reduced, as well as a further 20% off making it only £32!! I had to snap such a beautiful coat up! The coat is perfect for spring and is probably a little bit too thin for now but i had to try it out! The way the drapes fall are really flattering as well as the ties to accentuate your waist. Its such a lovely adaptation to the normal straight up and down trench coat and they never go out of style so its definitely an investment. I cant wait to get some more wear out of it when its warmer!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend! What do you think of this outfit? Do you like trench coats?

OOTD | Polka dots

Jeans - H&M
Shoes - Primark
Necklace - HSamuel

I plucked my white skinny jeans out of the wardrobe yesterday for the first time this year and for me it feels like it has now been declared spring! The sun has been shining, but don't be fooled its still freezing out brr. Peacocks have some amazing items for spring in at the moment and this cropped jumper is no exception. If i was a jumper then this would be me, its so adorable and the pale baby pink colour is one of my favourite pastel colours. I thought it would go perfectly with my white skinny jeans and this is such a summery outfit but the jumper still gives me that bit of warmth! As a fan of rucksacks i love the addition of this aztec/monochrome one, rucksacks are SO much easier than lugging a heavy handbag around all day and its perfect for taking to uni.

You cant see very well but i also tried out a halo braid on my hair for the first time and i cant believe i hadnt tried them sooner, i always thought they must be so hard to do but it is literally the easiest hairstyle i have tried after watching Zoellas video on it!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like Peacocks spring collection? Have you tried the halo braid?

OOTD | Flirty florals

Top* - Karma Clothing
Jeans - New Look
Clutch - River Island
Free runs - Nike
It definitely felt like spring today wearing some of the brightest colours that i own,i just need a tan to go with it now and i will be happy haha! I love this top from Karma Clothing whom i didn't know about until a short time ago and i am so glad i found them as they are such an affordable online shop and selling both clothing and accessories, as well as showcasing all of the latest trends through their range! This top was from their spring florals and i have been loving the plain baseball/sports luxe tops for so long now so when i saw a floral one it was the perfect addition to my wardrobe and i cant wait to wear it more in the summer. Its a really baggy top which is why i have tucked it in but it will look so good baggy with leggings and even in the summer with some shorts!

I bought these free runs back in the summer, i gave into the hype and had to own a pair, it took me about a week to pick what colour i wanted! I originally ordered the coral pair and was so disappointed when a neon pink pair turned up instead! But it turned out for the best as i actually prefer this colour, in the pictures they don't look that bright but they really are neon pink in the flesh, i had a few stares when i wore them today!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you use Karma Clothing? Do you like the spring floral trend?
