Who doesn't love a well dressed man?! As well as loving female fashion i love scrolling through Lookbook and viewing men's style and trends. When i saw Stylonylon had created a competition with Debenhams to win £500 based on creating two mood boards with a casual and smart outfit for a male a i thought it would be a great idea to be creative. Not only would also be great to give something back to my boyfriend who religiously takes my outfit pictures when requested hehe! This is something a bit different to what i usually post but to any men out there who read my blog or for those with a man in your life i hope you like my outfit inspiration!
1. Navy washed high roll t shirt - Topman
2. Lee denim grey washed jeans - Debehams
3. Black Biker jacket - River Island
4. Clarks suede lace up shoes - Debenhams
5. Navy twist Beanie hat - River Island
First up is this super cool and casual look which in this instance could be worn to a gig. Biker jackets are so effortlessly cool and versatile as they can be dressed up or down, day or night. I LOVE this t-shirt and i would also wear this myself if i could! Tie dye was very much in last year and still seems to be around and the wash of this one is perfect. Good shoes on a man are essential and are one of the first things i look at, brogues are really casual but still look smart without being too over the top for a gig.
1. Jeff Banks black straight leg jeans - Debenhams
2. White button down shirt - Topman
3. Gingham bow tie - Asos
4. Grey Blazer - Jack Jones
5. Red Herring Brogues - Debenhams
Dressing up for a night out and dinner is definitely my favourite thing to do as i'm sure many men do as well! This is my favourite outfit of the two that i created and it is so in fashion with female trends too, check the gingham bow tie out! Its a more unique option to a standard (boring) tie! The monochrome look with the jeans and shirt looks fab with the grey blazer, the whole outfit looks really pristine and i would certainly not mind rocking up to a restaurant with my boyfriend dressed like this!

With Valentines day fast approaching at the end of the week i have been spending so much time looking at inspiration on pinterest (nothing new there really!). It seems odd really that im not actually much of a fan of the big day and never have been, just some flowers and a card will do nicely! I just think it has become so commercialised and i think there shouldn't really be a specific day to share the love, it should be everyday for sure! When i lived in Finland last year their concept of Valentines was spot on, it was more about spreading the love and showing that you care about your friends which is something that should be done more! But regardless to this whatever you are doing and with whoever i hope you have a lovely day, James and i will probably just stay in with some food and a film, i am far more excited for LFW the next day and spending the weekend there! Anyway, here are some of my favourite ideas for Valentines, i hope you enjoy!

Heart ribbon - HobbyCraft
Candy coloured string - Ebay
There is nothing i love more about Christmas than wrapping presents! It definitely helps to add your own little personal touch and you can be as creative as you want to be regardless to how well you can wrap presents! Here are some of my ideas for wrapping presents:
Brown paper is definitely one of my staples for Christmas wrapping this year! I picked up a massive roll for a pound in you guessed it poundland haha and you may think brown is boring is boring but you can jazz it up any way you like! I've added different Christmas ribbons to mine that i have picked up from various places, the candy striped string was from ebay and i think it looks great! Other ideas are stamping your own designs onto the paper with ink or paint, adding stickers and by attaching little gifts to the string such as a candy cane or a tree chocolate, other ideas i have seen on pinterest that i love are sprigs of holly, sadly i don't know of any holly tree at university but my mum knitted the holly and berrys for me which you can see on the picture above, how amazing is that?!
Gift tags - I have never seen the point in buying gift tags when you can make them yourself with relatively no cost involved! I usually cut up last years Christmas cards or the card from Christmas crackers and recycle it as gift tags, they all end up looking different and better than anything you can buy!
Another little thing i love adding to presents is Christmas sequins! I put in some Christmas sequins to their cards and inside presents so they get a little extra surprise when they open their presents!
Some of my favourite places to buy wrapping paper and the little extras from are; Paper chase,eBay, pound land,Ikea, the works and hobby craft!
Here are some of my favourite wrapping inspiration ideas from Pinterest, enjoy!
