5 Lush Halloween Products You Need In Your Bath This Autumn

lush-cosmetics-halloween
Oh, what would you know, just like that it's almost bloody NOVEMBER. I'm not ready to admit that I still haven't met this years 4637 New Years resolutions, or set next years for that fact. But I love this time of the year, it's fresher, it's about buying PSL's that you don't even drink OR like - and sweet merry lord, the Lush Halloween collection is out too. It's better than ever.

I got a little preview of the Lush Halloween and Christmas collection a couple of weeks ago at their blogger event. Aint nobody do better blog events than these guys. I'd already spotted a few returning huns from last year and some new additions that have somehow topped what they did last year.

So whilst the evenings are starting to draw in, those days of leaving and coming home in the dark are on the horizon, the bathing season has started. For me, you won't want to be without these 5 Lush Halloween products this Autumn!
lush-cosmetics-halloween

How cute tho? It reminds me of a) lucky black cats b) the children's TV programme from the 90s (Cat's Eyes) and C) Salem from Sabrina, I'm smitten. Imagine having a black bath, like how Halloween and spooky is that? It's obviously going to be my bath product of choice when the 31st rolls around.

Yep, it's the first time this one has ever graced the shelves of Lush and I hope it makes a return.

2. Naked Twilight* (shower gel)

Mama have mercy. It's Twilight galore this year in Lush and I could not be more excited. I almost wet myself a bit when I realised Twilight shower gel was actually being sold in my Plymouth store, say what? I've always been a Twilight fan as opposed to a Snow Fairy gal and if their new twilight/sleepy additions weren't enough, they've now released a Naked shower gel of Twilight.

A lot of their products are now available in a naked form, removing plastic from the equation, it's of course much better for the environment, and lasts longer too. It smells INCRED - I almost want to use it as a room scent as it's just sooooo good.

I'm not entirely sure on the 'naked' concept yet, I think it's great what they're doing and hasn't been done before, but I'm not sure of how you would really store it or travel with it. But it is Twilight, so of course I had to have it. (Already setting my alarm for the Boxing Day sale to grab THE LOT).

Why buy the orange version when there is PINK. Always pink. I'm super happy at this new addition this year that is undeniably going to go down a storm with bloggers and girls everywhere.

It's pink, sparkly and lasts a few bath times, what's not to love about that?

4. Pumpkin

Pumpkin is back this year and it's a Halloween tradition of mine. You can't not buy Pumpkin, like it's the law. This cute bath bomb fizzes and creates that autumnal bath colour of dreams.

A comforting and sweet smell which is almost just that bit more satisfying than having a whiff of a PSL. I like it a lot.

Lord of Misrule is a babe! I think this is the third or fourth year it has returned, and the smells, colours are just divine. It's that one bath bomb that will always nail that lushie bath art for your Insta too.

It reminds me of the theatre show Wicked with its wicked green colour, it's only £3.95 too, so it definitely comes in at one of the more cheaper bath bombs!

5 Things You Need To Get From The New Summer Lush Collection

When it comes to the summer I take my foot off the Lush pedal *slightly*, but still secretly long for those cold, winter nights and the releases of the Halloween collection - because is there really any better time of the year, am I right?

In between deciding how I'm going to position my Christmas tree in my new place, I went to Lush Plymouth's blogger evening last week to learn about the new collection. I had seen little snippets of what was coming out on Instagram, and I was incredibly excited to pick up some bits too. There are quite a few products that sadly won't make it into our store, so to give you a quick snapshot of the evening and new ranges, here are 5 things that you totally need to get your hands on this summer!
#1. Jelly Face Masks

I know what you're thinking, HOW? I am loving this take on the jelly shower gels, but believe me it's easier to apply and use than you think. This twist on a traditional face mask is fun and pretty cool. To use, you simply break a piece off and rub together in your hands before applying.

There are currently 4 in the range which all help to target different problem areas, the range includes; Just To Clarify, Bunny Moon, 1000 Millihelens and The Birth of Venus. I picked up Just To Clarify which is juicy, zesty and helps to brighten up the skin. You only need to leave it on for 5-10 mins to reap the benefits. I always end up wearing them whilst I'm doing the washing up or some other adult chore, mask time is up before you know it! What are your initial thoughts on these?!

2. Hot Oil Conditioners

Okay, so these aren't exactly new, but there is a new gal to the collection and I a) never knew these existed and b) have never used one - I blame it on my penchant for bath bombs and nothing else, but it looks like I've been missing out.

There are 5 hot oil conditions in the range now, all targeted specifically at the needs of different hair types. Whether you have bleached or coloured hair that needs a little bit of nourishment and tender loving care or flat hair that needs a bit of oomph, then they have you covered.

They're so easy to use and you simply stir them into boiling hot water to form a 'sort of' thick paste. Dependent on the amount of hair you have, any excess product can be put into a tub to keep in the fridge which can last up to 6-8 weeks.

I picked the Huge Hot Oil Conditioner to try out which smells like spearmint chewing gum, HELLO. It's the one for fine or flat hair that needs some serious oomph. It contains sea salt for shine and volume and peppermint powder to reduce the drop rate in hair and strengthen the scalp. I'll have to get back to you on the results of this one!
3. Rump Cream

I remember seeing this on Instagram and think WHUT? Before I'd even looked into what the product was. It sounded vaguely familiar to Trump, don't you think? And that is where this idea for this product has come from. It's the product that has got everyone talking who's anyone, to prove that with any cracks, come light.

Designed to soothe, soften and help with chafing, whilst making 'your bum great again' it's a perfect product for cyclists or those who just want, well, a smooth derrier. Without revealing too much about this product, just go in store and read the product packaging, it's really quite clever!

4. Rocket Science Bath Bomb

I mean, come on, what's not to love about this new cutie on the bath scene? I feel like I haven't had a chance to properly enjoy a lush bath bomb in so long and I am sorry for that because that type of 'me time' is so precious and so needed on a day to day basis for me!

Anyway, enough about that. In less than 5 seconds this bath bomb is gonna transport you to another world, filled with bergamot and lemon, it's a serious zesty and delicious scent. I think it's gonna be a new favourite.
5. The Comforter Bubble Bar

So. it's not really a newbie, but this was one of the integral parts of the blogger evening and it made me remember just how much I love this classic bubble bar. We got to make our OWN comforter bars from scratch, I really don't think there is another job I would love more than making Lush products all day every day, imagine just how good you would smell?

It's hot pink, so instantly ticks all the boxes and I love how big it is as it ends up lasting a good few baths. If you've never used it before, it has the most delicious fruity scent that will have your bath filled with blankets of bubbles for slipping under in no time!

So there we have it, my top 5 Lush products you need to be putting into your basket! What are you loving from their new collection?

Lush Halloween 2016 Haul

Lush-Halloween-2016
There's honestly nothing I love more about winter than long, hot lush baths - don't they just make everything better? After my local Lush Halloween & Christmas preview, I was inundated with bath products that I wanted to pick up, I try to buy the whole collection of the seasonal ranges as I just love trying them all out, and this years collection has 100% outdone last years. I was also lucky enough to get the big Pumpkin gift for my Birthday, so I have plenty of bath bombs, bath melts and shower gels to get stuck into. You'll be in for a bewitching bath time treat with this little collection, but the question is, will I be able to use them all up before Halloween?
Lush-Halloween-2016
Lush-Halloween-2016
Okay, so this little cutie is part of the Christmas range, but I couldn't wait to show you this little guy! Jester bubble bar wand comes with a dinky little bell and ribbon, with just the cutest little face. I love bubble bars as they're so long lasting, I can usually get 5 baths out of them at a push. Swish it around the bath for plenty of bubbles and lots of colour, this one smells like zesty tangerines, yum!

If you're #TeamTwilight you are going to LOVE their new additions to the twilight range. I have been hankering after twilight shower gel since the first limited edition ones came out almost 4 years ago. To be reunited with the body lotion that is scented like twilight is heavenly. It is the most mousturising and gorgeous smelling body lotion I have ever used, unfortunately this is also going to be a limited edition item so I'm going to have to stock up on this one before it goes. It's the perfect post bathtime skin treat, before slipping on my fav cactus pjs!
Lush-Halloween-2016
I always love the seasonal shower gels they release, Rose Jam was one of my favourites from a couple of years ago which is also back this year! Bubbly shower gel certainly packs a punch, it's super fruity, zesty and scented with sweet orange oil and fresh grape juice!
Lush-Halloween-2016
I rarely pick up soaps from Lush as I'm very much an anti-bac soap girl, I definitely have a minor OCD when it comes to washing hands, especially when I'm trying to avoid colds in the office... But I got given these little samples of Santas Postbox and Shooting Stars soap at the blogger event. Their soaps do smell sooo amazing though and I'm already giving Shooting Stars a try! I'm currently keeping Santa's postbox in my drawer and it is smelling amazing, I can't wait to get it out for the run up to Christmas, eek!
Lush-Halloween-2016
Sparkly Pumpkin is back for another year and it will always remain as my bubble bar of choice for the actual day of Halloween. It's super glittery and it produces a carrot coloured, bubbly bath. But if glitter isn't for you, they've also released a plain pumpkin bath bomb this year!
Lush-Halloween-2016
Oh, Boo! You were wrong if you didn't think their selection could get any cuter! Boo is the cuest mini bubble bar around, this ghoulish guy is scented with mimosa, and earthy warming ginger. As it melts into the bath it leaves behind a ghoulish, noursishing cocoa butter trail.
Lush-Halloween-2016
Lord of misrule is back with a vengeance this year after being slightly redesigned, I love the colours this one fizzes out when it's popped into the bath. It features a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil for a fragrant bath. This years version also contains popping candy in the middle, what's not to love?
Lush-Halloween-2016
For those who just want a good old classic for Halloween, this pumpkin bath bomb will do just the trick. Besides from being super cute, it is scented with a comforting vanilla absolute and spicy cinnamon scent, I can't wait to have a soak with this one on a cold, rainy night!
Lush-Halloween-2016
The thing I love most about Autumn is all the beautiful colours we see from the falling leaves, and Autumn Leaf bath bomb beautifully captures this. As it slowly fizzes away like a cartwheel it continues to release more autumnal colours, it's probably one of the most colourful from the Halloween collection. It's a real winter warmer!
Lush-Halloween-2016
Monsters Ball bath bomb is a new addition to the Halloween collection this year and he is just perfect!! He reminds me of Monsters Inc with the colouring and cyclops eye! I used this one at the weekend, and loved the beautiful mix of colours that fizzed away, even once the bath bomb has fizzed you won't miss the little eye that peeks through the bubbles!
Lush-Halloween-2016
The Halloween products are hauntingly good, and I'm so ready to embrace the cold, dark winter nights now. Nothing seems too bad when you have a colourful, fragrant bath bomb to indulge in after a day at work. I'm not going out in fancy dress for Halloween this year, but you'll find me having a bath or two with one of these guys over the weekend!

Have you picked up anything from the Lush halloween collection? What are your plans for Halloween?

Lush Plymouth Halloween & Christmas 2016 Bloggers Evening

Lush-Plymouth
On Monday I headed down to Lush Plymouth for a magical, sweet smelling evening discovering the new Halloween & Christmas Lush products. I'd be lying if I said that I hadn't already openly looked for spoilers a month before, I just love their seasonal products so much, and they have seriously outdone themselves this year! I was in need of a good pamper and a bit of relaxation after my swim the day before (more about that later this week!), each blogger event always seems to top the last one, so we were all in for a wonderfully festive evening!
Lush-Peeping-Santa
We were greeted by the most insane selection of perfectly appropriate themed cakes made by V is for Veggies, you can catch her delicious bakes at the Royal William Food Market, Plymouth on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone was won over by the peeping Santa, Lush bubble bar inspired cupcakes!
Luxury-Lush-Puds
Vegan-Brownies
Did I mention that all her bakes are completely Vegan too? They're not only yummy, but guilt free too. Once we'd taken at least 100 + pictures of the cakes, it was time to meet the new Halloween editions to the Lush bathing family.
Lush-Halloween-2016
With this years seasonal collection, we're sure of a bewitching bath time. I was disappointed with the Halloween collection last year as there was only a few products, but they have totally outdone themselves this year, and I love everything!
Lush-Autumn-Leaf
First up was Autumn leaf bath bomb which really is the perfect bath time treat for this time of the year which beautifully signifies the autumnal leaves and the gorgeous colours we see during this season.
Lush-Autumn-Leaf
Lush-Sparkly-Pumpkin
Sparkly pumpkin bubble bar is back this year which has been one of my favourites for the last 3 years, it's super glittery and achieves the bubbliest, wicked orange coloured bath. Also joining sparkly pumpkin this year is Pumpkin bath bomb which is perfect for those who don't like to emerge from the bath covered in glitter!
Lush-Boo-Bath-Melt
Awww! Can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute little Boo is? This ghoulish guy is a bath melt, and I can't wait to use this one in my bath closer to Halloween.
lush-goth-fairy
Everyone loves a little bit of Halloween shimmer, right? This is a new type of product to the Lush collection and is a solid shimmer bar which leaves hydrating sparkles behind on your body whilst keeping your skin soft and supple.
Lush-monsters-ball
You could probably tell if you looked close enough which bath bomb this is! Monster's ball creepy little eye is the last thing to fizz when you use this bath bomb, he reminds me of the character in Monsters Inc, but can't for the life of me remember the name!
Lush-Plymouth
After a peek at all of the wonderful Halloween products, it was time for some Reindeer throwing hoops game, which anyone can play if you pick up the Reindeer box Christmas gift set!
Lush-Luxury-Pud
Smelling the new Halloween collection was exhausting work, so it was time for a little break with this Christmas pudding inspired cupcake, SO good!
Lush-Christmas-2016
If you thought the Halloween collection was good, wait until you see the new additions to the Christmas range!
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-red-slippers
I absolutely love the red slippers bubble bar, when it comes to the Christmas bath products I don't like using them too early in the season, so I'm super glad the red slippers bubble bar is one that could really be used all year round, it's super sparkly too!
Lush-dragon-bubble-bar
The bubble wands get better each year, I love this dragon Santa hat wearing bubble bar!
Lush-Christmas-2016
Never Mind The Ballistics is a bath bomb come bubble bar, it reminds me of refreshers sweets and smells amazing, it looks pretty good when it starts fizzing too..
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-mistletoe
Mistletoe bath bomb is such a beautiful bath bomb, it's jasmine scented and creates the most gorgeous pastel, bright coloured lush art.

Lush-Christmas-2016
Elf on the shelf fun is just the cutest!! Their Fun products make such cool gifts, I got some for my birthday last year, and although I can't say my creations were as good, it did make bath time a little bit more fun whilst I was soaking in a bubble bath of some kind. Fun can be used for shower gel and for a bubble bath too, it's a 3 in 1 type product!
Lush-snowie-bath-melt
Snowie was created to remember the legend that is David Bowie, it will help make you feel like a star too after using this. Thumbs up to whoever helped to create this cute, sweet smelling bubble bar.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Jester bubble bar wand is part of their Christmas range too, but could definitely be used all year round. I love how these come with their own little jingly bell like the other Christmas wands.
Lush-Christmas-2016
After another batch of Christmas products it was time for some more fun, where we had 1 minute to create a reindeer with Fun. It's harder than it sounds, okay? Needles to say our team didn't win this one...

Lush-Christmas-2016
Not forgetting the old favourites that are returning for another year, I'm so happy to see some of my favourites returning, but I'm also sad that Cinders bath bomb won't be, as that was one of my favourites from last years collection.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Despite being an avid lush bath bomber and bath melter, how did I not know that So White existed before? This bath bomb is so simplistic on the exterior, but packs a punch when it starts fizzing, it has an apple aroma and it fizzes and foams whilst creating a blanket of bubbles, I think I need 10.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Although Cinders won't be returning, the magic of Christmas wand bubble bar is, and it's the same sort of scent so that's okay. It really does capture the true scent of Christmas, with spices and almond and all things nice. It's the perfect one for a cold winters night.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Shoot for the stars bath bomb is beautiful on the inside and out, once it's fizzed you'll find 6 cocoa butter stars that are perfect for smoothing over your skin for a shimmer and some nourishment.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
So many bath bombs, so little time.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Once we'd covered all of the beautiful bathing products, it was time to look at the shower selection of goodies. All you snow fairy fans will be extremely happy as it is back again, with 1kg bottles and a snow fairy body conditioner has also launched this year! But don't worry if you're team twilight like me, because although the shower gel can only be purchased from Lush Oxford Street, this year they have released a Sleepy hand and body lotion and Mr Sandman dusting powder which is basically TWILIGHT! I have already stocked up and been sniffing it profusely as it's just so good, and boy have I missed being able to shower with Twilight.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Santa's belly is a bit of fun! I've never mastered showering with a shower jelly, but they make the best gifts for kids and adults.
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Lush-Christmas-2016
Whilst I was choosing a few bits from the new collections to take away with me, I had a good look around the Christmas gift sets which are all amazing, so if you're looking to get me anything for Christmas this year...
Lush-Christmas-2016
Need!
Lush-butterbear-tin
Also need! I forget how cute butterbear is and I really, really need this gift set. It's proved to be a popular seller so it's worth getting one now before they sell out.
Lush-Christmas-2016
I love these cute cloth wrapped gifts, they're one of the most inexpensive lush gifts and even when the bubble baths have been and gone you have these cute cloths to keep afterwards.
Lush-Christmas-2016

As always, the packaging and colours used throughout the gift sets is amazing. Extreme attention to detail has been made in every gift.

So much Fun!
Lush-Christmas-2016
I thought I'd finish with a Snow Fairy picture for y'all, as I think most people are team snow fairy, right?! We left with some amazing Christmas and Halloween products to get stuck into which have joined the lovely collection I got for my Birthday - I'm posting a Lush haul next week so keep an eye out for that!

I 100% fully love their Halloween and Christmas collection for 2016, they've upped their game from last year and I'm so excited to start my winter programme of baths, I'm very much one of those people that can't bath without some kind of Lush product nowadays. Clear bath water just isn't satisfying enough anymore! I hope you love all the new products like me, my favourites have to be Boo, Mistletoe, the bath wands and my old favourite, Christmas Luxury Lush Pud which I always save for my Christmas Eve bath, I'm counting down the days...

What do you think of the new seasonal collections? Have you tried any of the new products yet?
