July Degustabox Review | Food box

July-degustabox
Fancy receiving a box of delicious surprise food goodies through your box each month? Well, today I am introducing you to the Degustabox* July edition, a monthly food box which brings you exciting new food products each month for only £12.99 a month! It's like getting a surprise food hamper through the post each month, it's also perfect to give as a gift, especially with Christmas only being 4 months away hehe! For the July box I was lucky enough to receive the contents of the alcohol and alcohol free box, although this is not something that they will be including every month so it won't be a possibility to choose in the future, but you can always pass those alcohol products onto someone else if you so wish!

The Degustabox comes beautifully wrapped and is well presented in a big box, opening it up was ever so exciting as each month there are different surprise products which are all new to the market, I for one had never tried any of these products before!

So, lets skip to the best bit and find out what the box contained, it was a good one!
Zero drinks - RRP £1.29 each
These drinks came in three delicious flavours; peach and grapefruit burst, citrus crush and lime zest. I adore all three of these flavours and they are really refreshing on hot days, my favourite has to be the citrus crush though as I do love a nice lemon flavoured drink!

Hornsby's - RRP £1.25 each
I passed these ciders over to my dad which he was rather too happy about and loved the strong blueberry taste of the cider. Fruity ciders are such a popular summer drink and if you like cider anyway you need to give these American ones a go, they are a really reasonable price too!
Portlebay kracklecorn - RRP £0.79p per pack
I have never seen these in the shops before and i am so glad that have Degustabox have introduced me to this amazing brand! I was a bit dubious about the crispy bacon and maple syrup packet but the taste is absolutely amazing as you get the tastes of the salt and syrupy taste at the same time, taste buds blown! I am just yet to try the chilli and lime packet but i'm expecting it to be pretty hot! The different flavours are a fantastic addition as is the typical lightly salted packet, all really delicious and I will be repurchasing these when I spot them in a supermarket!
Maggi packets - RRP £5.44-£5.54
The Degustabox contained 6 maggi sachet packets which were; Piri Piri chicken, chicken & leek, Beef & Ale and oriental soy & garlic chicken. Maggi is a well known brand which I have used before so I really am looking forward to trying out these flavours. They are really easy to use and they can transform something plain into a really tasty meal which really requires no time or effort, which is perfect for someone like me!
The Berry Company - RRP £1.49
If you like Turkish delight then you will LOVE this drink! The hibiscus in the red tea is definitely what gives it the rose taste, its quite unusual as a drink but being a Turkish delight lover it really appeals to me!
DR. Oekter - RRP Eton Mess £1.99 | Violet Crystals £1.29
I was so happy when I found these cake decorating products in the box as I am an avid cake baker! It goes without saying that Dr.Oekter is a great well known brand and the Eton mess crystals have already found there way on to my birthday cupcake for my blog, I assure you its delicious! I cant wait to give the violet crystals a go next, they are so easy to use and you can sprinkle as much or little as you want onto your baking!
Frank - RRP £0.85
I am a lover of blueberries and chocolate so this was a big hit with me! I love how it's a snack bar made with 100% natural ingredients, no nasties here! It's nice to find a healthy snack bar for once, and Frank makes some delicious other flavoured bars too. Oh and its also free from gluten, nuts, dairy and refined sugar which is suitable for vegans too!
Green & Blacks - RRP £2.29
I am already such a fan of green and blacks and I know that dark chocolate isn't to everyone's taste but I love it, the higher the percentage the better! It's also got amazing health benefits which makes having this chocolate a good choice! This bar contains citrusy flavours, you really do just get a subtle taste of the lemon through the chocolate so it doesn't overpower the taste of the dark chocolate at all, this will quickly be finished off and repurchased again!
The degustabox also comes with a handy sheet detailing all of the products found in the box which is a brilliant insert beause it helps you to know more about the product, especially if you want to repurchase it again! The back also provides two really useful and simple receipes on the back from the products found in the box! I will definitely be having a go at these Eton mess cupcakes mmm...

So there you have it a taster of a Degustabox, there really was not one product that I didn't like. The best thing about this box is that you get to have a taster of each product before purchasing in the shop, it's also introduced myself to some amazing new brands that I will definitely be repurchasing! I would fully recommend this food box to anyone and will definitely be trying it again in the near future as well as purchasing it for presents! You can register for yourself with Degustabox here.

Degustabox have also kindly offered all of my readers a £3.00 discount when you first register, all you have to do is enter this code: 5WZCT

Have you tried a degustabox before? Does a food box interest you? Have you tried any of these products before?

OOTD | Zebra stripes

Dress - Motel Rocks
Necklace - River Island
Sandals - River Island via ASOS
Watch - Primark

I don't think you could get a more zebra inspired outfit you tried here! I tested out my new canon camera on these pictures last Friday and I am absolutely loving the result, I still need to have a big play around with the settings though to see which ones work best for the locations! Do let me know what you think of them below :)

I just love this shift dress, its so nice to wear something loose fitting for once and it's definitely needed after the heat that we have had. Monochrome stripes are an effortless look in my mind and never look outdated. Loving how my cute new primark watch matches perfectly with it. It was only £3, such a great bargain even if it doesnt last long. I have been after a cheap watch for ages on occasions that I don't want to take my Michael Kors out so it was the perfect watch for me. Primark have some amazing other watches like this too, so for only £3 i might have to get another one or two...

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like wearing stripes? What do you think of my pictures?

Charnos Hosiery footsies!

Ever get that feeling where you really want to wear a pair of shoes but you're stuck with the dilemma of having to put up with freezing feet or to wear visible socks which completely ruin the look?! Yup, we have all been there when it gets to winter, I hate having to pack my dolly shoes away in the winter as I have never found a solution to the problem, until Charnos footsies came along! Whether you are facing the problem with dolly shoes, peep toe shoes or trainers Charnos help by offering these footsies to still provide comfort and warmth without being able to see them! Warning: If you don't like pictures of feet steer away from this blog post haha!
These are not dissimilar to your average trainer socks although they don't come up to your ankles ensuring that your socks really wont be seen in the gym or on a run! I love the added benefit that they have been treated with Sanitized Actifresh finish meaning that you dont have to worry about smelly feet after a run or gym session!
As you can see no chance of your socks being spotted in the gym!
The ballerina pumps footsies are definitely my favourite of the range. As  I said previously I always want to wear my dolly shoes in the winter but i'm not brave enough to face the cold or wear unsightly socks with them. I have seen versions to these in the shops before but have never given them a go. They are so silky soft to wear and it doesn't even feel like you're wearing anything. My favourite out of the two has to be the footsies with the low cut heel grip as I really suffer from blisters there and especially when I am breaking in new shoes. These have given all of my shoes that I can no longer wear because of how much they rub a new lease of life, I cant believe I haven't used something like this sooner! For only £3 they are definitely worth it in comparison to the amount of plasters that you end up buying over a life time!
As you can see they are completely discrete and perfect under any type of dolly shoes!
These footsies are my favourite looks wise, i absolutely love the lace detail I would definitely wear these as just normal socks! I don't actually own any peep toe shoes, how am I even a fashion blogger?! *sobs* but this gives me an excuse to quite happily go out and buy a pair and test these out! Once again I hate having cold feet in the winter and as with peep toe heels or any heels for that matter they always end up rubbing you by the end of the night so these are a great solution to those problems!
I would fully recommend these footsies to anyone! My favourite pair has to be the ballerina pumps with the extra heel grip because lets face it we all have a pair of shoes that we absolutely love but can't wear because they rub the back of our heels so much, i will be wearing these regardless to whether they are ballerina pumps or not as they are such a great idea that I haven't seen anywhere else before! All of the footsies range are completely affordable and well worth a try!

What do you think of these footsies? Have you seen something like this before? Does a product like this interest you?

OOTD | Flamingos

Missguided-flamingo-bodysuitMissguided-flamingo-bodysuit

Missguided-flamingo-swimsuit
plymouth-hoe
midi-rings
Shorts - Hollister
Double ring - Shop in Mykonos
Midi Rings - Forever 21 and River Island
Sunglasses* - Ice Watch

Can a swim suit be any dreamier?! Missguided are on point with their body suits this summer I think I need every single one! The flamingo one was used in their summer campaign and my love of the beautiful animals meant that it was getting purchased. A few people have asked about the material of it and yes you can wear this to go swimming, its just the type of swimming cossie material that you get. However, I will be definitely wearing this as a bodysuit as well. I just cannot get enough of the colours and the gorgeous scoop back, the padded bra section means you don't have to worry about purchasing a backless bra and the added worry of it going see through without one. Missguided have got it completely covered, for only £11.99 plus a student discount it is the biggest steal this summer and I cannot wait to be wearing this for summers to come!

I'm really into my rings recently too, I just think it makes your whole ensemble look more polished! I picked up the pretty stars and moon ring from Mykonos, whilst the midi rings are both from Forever 21 and River Island!

With the beautiful evenings we have been having I also headed down to the sea front for the evening to snap some pictures and I really like the overall effect, the lighting was just perfect! It's going to look even better soon with my new camera that I purchased on Wednesday (Canon 1200d). I cannot wait to share some of the pictures with you eek! Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you get up to! I am off to Bristol for the weekend to meet up with James, so expect a post on that sometime next week!

What do you think of this swim suit? Do you like the missguided range of bodysuits? Do you like backless tops? What do you think of the setting of the pictures?
