Lush Plymouth bloggers evening - Mother's Day & Easter range | 2015

Lush-Plymouth-bloggers
On Tuesday I was invited down to Lush Plymouth to learn some more about their Mothers day and Easter collection and the new Gorilla perfume. I've been to a fair few events now over the time that I have been blogging and the Lush events are always the ones I anticipate the most. I have a serious addiction to Lush bath bombs, as do most people and the thought of having a bath with CLEAR water seems like the oddest thing in the world, I'm sure you can all agree with me on this huh?! Anyway, the evening did not disappoint and once again I left with a list as long as my arm of the things I want to pick up on my next trip!
Lush-Plymouth-bloggers
We were greeted with our own Lush pot with our blog name on which I think was such a cute touch, it has already made pride of place on my shelf in my room! Seriously how cute are the rabbit bath bombs?! More about that later...
Mini Colin the Caterpillars and Percy pigs!! I wondered if the evening could possibly get any better...
After introducing ourselves to one another we had an Easter egg hunt!
Lush-easter-collection
My blogger team didn't win the hunt but it was such a fun thing to start the evening with and if you like snow fairy then you will love these Easter egg bath bombs as they are scented exactly the same.
Adam then introduced us to the new perfume Gorilla which adds to their existing perfume range. To be honest I normally don't even check this section out as it's all about the bath bombs and melts for me, but it was really interesting learning about the different perfumes and the story behind the making of them.
The style of the perfumes are so cool, it does remind me slightly of cleaning sprays though - they are unisex perfumes too! They also come in solid forms and I was lucky enough to take one home with me.
It was then onto the mother's day collection and time to trial the yummy mummy shower gel and yummy mummy body conditioner..
The lovely Leonuh testing out the product, the colour of the shower gel is amazing and so sparkly which has a lovely floral scent to it.
The gift sets are always so much fun and the design work that goes into them is evident, I loved this one which had the concertina effect of the sun.
This was the product of the Rose Bombshell bath bomb, it looks like a plain white bath bomb but as it starts expanding in the water all of a sudden some pink rose petals burst out! I just had to come away with one of these and can't wait to test it out in my bath!
Next up was the ultraviolet bubble bar.
So many bubbles!

The Secret Garden bath bomb was one of my favourites - you may have already seen the cool art that the bath bomb created on my Instagram (NicoleLsage). I usually just hop in the bath with the bomb at the same time but from now on I will be sitting back and watching the colours take shape as I have definitely been missing out!

Lush-Bubblegrub
Oh the bubblegrub is one of the cutest bath bombs there is, based on the hungry caterpillar a childhood favourite story book of mine, this bubble bar means that you can have one bath orange or another as green, or mix and match if you wish!
I had the rose bubble bar last year which I loved, I just think it's the prettiest looking little thing!
A last bubble bar from the range is mother superior which is essentially a nun! Isn't it adorable?!
Then it was on to the Easter range, I love that there are so many different collections, not helpful for my bank balance though...

The gift set of dreams.. what could be better than a carrot shaped present containing carrot shaped bubble bars, a golden egg bath bomb and carrot soap!
The said carrot soap complete with it's own straw grass and the middle stamped with the against animal testing symbol.
Lush-easter-collection
I had these carrot bubble bars last year for Easter and will be buying them again this year as they are just so cool! Who doesn't want to share their bath with some carrots?!
I loved the look of this! I have tried their shower jelly's before but after watching how it's actually meant to be used I have been failing terribly at using them.. I didn't realise you use it in its full shape and rub it on as I used to break bits off it to use which is slightly embarrassing, I did always wonder why the little bits never washed me properly.. never mind! This gorgeous golden gloop smells like honey and caramel and is super moisturising!

Eggcellent bath bombs...

I got to take one of these home which I am too excited to use, they smell just like chocolate which I was not expecting after looking at the colour of them and once broken in half they have a tiny bunny bath bomb inside them making them similar to the valentines love heart lockets which had a tiny heart bath bomb inside too.

So cute!
I think every blogger had their eyes on these, anything gold and glittery will always win me over. My hands were covered in glitter by just touching the eggs so I can imagine how amazing the bath will be, I don't think my mum will be too impressed though...

Posing with my favourite Easter bath bomb Hoppity Poppity, just because of its sheer cuteness, to be honest though I adore every single product from the Easter range!

After learning about the new collections we got to pick an item from the mothers day, Easter and perfume range wrapped up in our own cute vintage scarf to take away!
Lush-Plymouth-bloggers
I had the most enjoyable and fun evening at Lush and with the other Plymouth bloggers, it's always so fab to meet other local bloggers. Thanks again to Lush Plymouth for organising another unforgettable event, you know it's been a great evening when you leave covered in glitter and smelling like the shop! I now can't wait to get stuck into my bath bombs and return to purchase my list of the other bits from the collection, the golden egg and hoppity poppity are at the top of my list! The Mothers Day and Easter stock  wont be around for long and is subject to stock lasting so make sure you get a visit in before you miss out on the new collections! Anyway, whatever you are up to today I hope you all have a fabulous Mothers Day!

What do you think of the new Easter and Mothers Day collection? What products have caught your eye? What are your plans for Mothers Day?

OOTD | Pastel checks

Jacket -Primark
Jumper - Primark
Jeans- Topshop
Shoes - Office
Bag - River Island

The pastels are back and I couldn't be any happier, in an ideal world I would wear pastels head to toe, all year round! I just cant get enough of these candy colours and when I spotted this jacket in Primark I snapped it up before anyone else could. This jacket is without a doubt the best thing I own (I say this a lot, I know!) the fact that it was only £16 and from primark is even better!! This jacket will not leave my body this spring and it looks equally good with other pastels like this or with block colours like greys, whites etc. I am also besotted with my new shoes from Office!! They are the closest match to the designer pairs that have been on the market and they also come in leopard print too which I almost must have! If you saw my Spring shoes wishlist post you will have seen how much of a thing laces up shoes are set to be this Spring/Summer! These shoes help make any outfit look polished, even the painful blisters are worth it for these!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like pastels? What are your thoughts on lace up shoes?

Spring shoes wishlist

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, whatever you are up to! It's no secret that I am a compulsive shoe buyer, they beat makeup, handbags and clothes every time! Each new season brings me excitement for the new styles that might be hitting the shops and gracing my feet. This spring/summer the shoes on offer are amazing! I've already bought 3 new pairs in the space of a week, oops. It's certain that lace up shoes/sandals and pastel colours and crocodile patented styles are set to be a big hit this summer and are widely available in most shops already, so there is plenty of choice!!! It wasn't hard to pick some favourites, there's a pair for every occasion including nights out, exercise, flats for the day and those show stopping numbers like the second pair! They may be £120 but they combine every girls favourite things, fluff, glitter and gold!! I think I best get saving...

What do you think of my picks? What shoes are your favourite? Do you like the SS15 styles?

OOTD | Spring florals

Jacket - George at ASDA
Shirt - New Look
Jeans* - Mango
Brogues - Red Herring
Watch - Olivia Burton

There hasn't been an outfit post on here in a couple of weeks now and I seem to have already developed a back log of clothes that I need to blog and share with you all! I must apologise for my absence on the blog of late, I've been sooo busy with work and other things going on and work and my health have to come first. I'm planning on doing an update on my blog about all this in the forthcoming weeks to let you all know what I've been up to and why I've not been around much lately. I absolutely love blogging and don't see my life without it in the near future but there will be less posts from now on anyway while I'm juggling everything else, but I hope you will all stay around as I still have lots of exciting things to tell you all about! In the meantime you can keep up with my daily activities on my Instagram (nicolelsage).

Moving on..a couple of weeks ago I went to asda on a bit of a mission to see what clothes George actually has and whether I could find a whole outfit there for a post to show you what nice clothes supermarkets actually have, and as you all know I love to find a bargain! I was really surprised at some of the nice pieces there, unfortunately I couldn't manage to pull a whole outfit together because of the sizings of the trousers and skirts, but I picked this beautiful jacket up which was only £16 which is a steal! I lived in jackets like this in the winter and I'm over the moon that I now have one to take me into Spring. It seems that florals will never be out of my life for long! I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I look forward to catching up with everyone's blogs!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you shop for clothes in supermarkets? Have you started wearing spring clothes yet?
