Facemasks are without a doubt my favourite part of my skin care routine! They are so relaxing, as well as offering lots of different options in improving your skin. I have tried my fair share in the past so i thought i would share with you my top 5 favourite facemasks with you from budget prices to fairly high end!
Montagne jeunnesse 70p
Montagne Jeunnesse hot chocolate - This mask is the cheapest out of my favourites and it can be purchased from places like Wilkinsons for a mere 70p, the most you expect to pay is 99p for these. Montagne Jeunnesse masks have been around for years and they sell a wide range of masks but this is by far my favourite. Its called a sauna masque because when applied to the skin it heats up and the fact that it smells so much like real chocolate is the real winner for me! The purpose of this mask is to cleanse your pores and i really think that the heat of this mask does help to bring the impurities out. As its a sachet its so annoying if you don't use it all in one go, my top tip is squeezing it into an empty pot and you can then get at least 4 goes out of it!

Superdrug Aloe Vera Mud mask - This has been one of the newest additions to my collection and is another firm favourite. They are really cheap again at only £ for this tube. I picked the de stressing facemask but there are also a few others you can choose from. I LOVE the slight lavender scent to it and it is really relaxing, although as its a de stressing facemask i think this one is more for pleasure than reaping any skin benefits. N.b check with the ingredients that you aren't allergic to them because my boyfriend used this mask and his skin came out completely red which lasted for about an hour after using it!

Boots Quick fix facials anti blemish mud mask oily and spot prone skin - This is one of boots own brand makes and this comes in at £4.99. This is well worth the money and if i could liken it to any product it would be the origins clear improvement charcoal mask. They are both targeted at spot prone skin and they pretty much do the same thing, they also smell the same! The mask dries really fast so it can be drying on the skin, but if you suffer from oily skin its great for controlling oil production, it also contains salicylic acid which is renowned for helping to draw out spots,the tea tree oil also helps to treat the spots and prevent further ones in the future. For the money this mask is great and a much cheaper option to the Origins one!

Blackhead killer peel off mask - This mask was and has been my holy grail. I reviewed it in full here in the summer. For those who don't know i suffered from terrible acne last year, i was reluctant to go to the doctors because i don't like taking tablets for things if i can sort the problem myself. These masks were the turning point at clearing my acne as because it is a peel off mask i really could see the masks taking out all of the rubbish that was clogging up my skin. You do notice a few more sports at the start but this is just getting rid of everything, within 1-2 months my acne had completely cleared up,i fully recommend this for people with problem skin.
Origins drink up mask £22 | here
Origins drink up mask - Last up is the most expensive mask i have ever owned,luckily i bought this on my boots points though so it doesn't really count but its retail price is ! I also reviewed this in full here. This mask again is a miracle worker for dry skin,particularly in the winter. You only need to apply this to your dry areas of skin and it does not make your skin any oilier at all which was my first worry about using it. After the first use it adds so much more moisture back into your skin. I particularly like using this mask before a night out because it means no dry patches show up under my makeup and your makeup applies onto your skin so easily making it look flawless!

I apologise for my squinty eyes in these photos, i really need to get my sunglasses out again! I am loving this quilted jacket from Peacocks which was kindly gifted to me, the embellished collar is stunning and it really reminds me of an Indian/tribal pattern and its so perfect for spring! It goes really well with my trusty ripped skinny jeans, i also have another pair on the way from Asos which i cannot wait to arrive! I'm also wearing one of my favourite presents which i got for Christmas which is the precious bumblebee necklace,its so tiny but that's what makes it so special, i'm not really one for nice jewellery, usually a £2 necklace from primark will do me perfectly haha. It's definitely nice to have a few special pieces to wear now and again though!

I am a massive fan of Inthefrow and when i saw a post pop up last week saying she had collaborated with Trek America to offer readers a chance to win a trip of a lifetime on Westerner 2 and to blog your way around the West of the USA, i knew that i had to enter!
I'm really lucky that at only 21 i have already had some fantastic opportunities to travel, with holidays,Camp America and my exchange year spent in Finland, coming home was the hardest part because i realised that it was all over until i had another adventure planned. Now my final year of university is coming to an end and the feelings of wanderlust are definitely starting to set in. Why work when i can have fun travelling the world instead?! There really is nothing as exciting as experiencing a new place and culture for the first time.
So what would i pack for a weekend away? Well it really depends on what exciting place i would be visiting,whether i'm going for a weekend in a City, somewhere hot or cold, it really does vary as to what you need to take with you. So, i thought i would come up with some of my top essentials that you just cant go without packing when you have a weekend away and are suitable as to whether you're on a desert island or in New York!
1. Camera + Iphone Seriously, since i have had my iPhone it has completely changed my life, most probably because I've never been able to read maps and always used to get lost looking for various landmarks when i was away for a weekend. The inbuilt gps is amazing, it saves so much time and endlessly getting lost! Having all my social media apps at the click of a button is also perfect when you're away and want to be able to update your status to wherever and whatever amazing thing you're up to. Taking a camera with you in my eyes is also an essential, memories last forever as they say but taking pictures means you can reminisce in years to come and share them with all your family and friends too.
2. Guide book/language book Depending on where you're going of course, but its always handy to know a bit of the language so you are able to get by, for instance in some places they don't speak much of English, in Russia for example we really struggled and a small phrase book was the best thing since sliced bread at the time! Picking up a guide book also helps so you can pre plan and make an itinerary to get the most out of your time away, especially if its only for a weekend. You can even get apps for your iPhone for phrases in lots of different languages, your iPhone is a multi purpose item that you just cant forget to take with you!
3. Comfortable shoes If you're into fashion like me you'll want to look stylish all the time but from my many painful experiences DO wear comfortable shoes because you'll be able to stay out longer and do more things and you wont be in agony! You also don't even need to pack these, so that means more room in your bag for something else!
5. Toiletries We are all guilty of packing the contents of our entire bathroom when we go away but for a weekend less is definitely more! Pack the bare essentials and items that double up as other products and definitely buy mini versions of everything to save room or you can even decant your own into travel size bottles to save money.
7. Snacks & Water This goes without saying really! But it really is an essential and you never know where the nearest shop will be when you arrive so leave prepared, i always pack food as well just in case i don't like the local delicacies!
8. Your Sense of adventure! Lastly, and probably the most important, be willing to try new things,until you step out of your comfort zone you wont know what you're missing out on! This is one of the most important things to bear in mind when you're travelling to get the most out of your experience.

Having a trench coat is a staple item to any wardrobe and something that i have wanted for ages. When i was in London last week i had a look in the Oxford street Topshop store in the boutique section where they sell lots of different brands under one roof. I found this amazing trench style coat in the Jovonnista section, i actually love their range of clothes and already own a gorgeous summer maxi dress from there. The coat was £75 so i didn't pick it up but when i was looking in the sale section i found my size and it was reduced, as well as a further 20% off making it only £32!! I had to snap such a beautiful coat up! The coat is perfect for spring and is probably a little bit too thin for now but i had to try it out! The way the drapes fall are really flattering as well as the ties to accentuate your waist. Its such a lovely adaptation to the normal straight up and down trench coat and they never go out of style so its definitely an investment. I cant wait to get some more wear out of it when its warmer!
