Varsity Jacket - Rogue City
Top - Urban Outfitters
Jeans - Abercrombie
Socks - Hand knitted by my mummy!
Shoes - Converse
Rucksack - Topshop

Recently i have had a bout of really good luck and i have won a few blog competitions and last week Rogue City had a retweet competition on twitter to win £50 which i also won!! I couldnt believe my luck! Rogue City have some amazing items of clothing all bang on trend and they currently have a big sale on and for today only (10/01/14) you can grab 25% of their entire range now by entering the code ROGUECITY25!

Anyway i have been after a varsity jacket for as long as i know as they are so casual yet look great and it can be added to any outfit, it is also perfect for wearing to uni as sometimes i just don't want to dress up all the time. They also sell a navy blue jacket like this which is just as nice. I also bought a really cute holographic beanie from their site which will be featured in another blog post soon!

I hope you all have a great weekend! What do you think of this outfit? Do you like varisty jackets>

OOTD | Sequins

Sequin-jumper-topshop

Jumper - Topshop (sale)
Disco Pants - American Apparel
Shoes - Primark
Necklace - New Look

Happy hump day! I'm so glad we are half way through the week, i'm tired of this first week back at uni already! Anyway, despite my disappointment with the sales this year this sequinned jumper from Topshop is probably my best find! It was originally £42 but i bagged it for only £15!! I love all of the sequin items of clothing that Topshop sell but they always come with a hefty price tag so it was inevitable that i was going to take this home!

What i love about this cropped jumper is that you can wear it casually in the day with jeans and also in the evening with a bodycon skirt or disco pants like this! I'm also excited to wear this in the summer with some white skinny jeans! I also found these beautiful Mary Jane shoes from Primark of all places,it must be their spring stock already but the colour matches perfectly with this jumper and they were only £8, i can see myself getting so much wear out of them like my black ones that i also have from Primark!

I hope that you are all having a good week and thanks for reading! What do you think of this outfit? What have your best sale finds been?

OOTD | Fluffy Cardigan

Dress - Motel Rocks
Cardigan  - H&M
Boots* - Bank
Necklace - New Look
Watch - Michael Kors

After much deliberation and waiting to see if this fluffy cardigan went into the H&M sale, which it didn't, i finally went ahead a bought this yesterday which will probably lead to it being put in the sale next week, isn't that the worst thing?! But i don't mind as i have wanted it for so long now and because it's cream it will go with most things, most of my tops and dresses tend to be sleeveless and i never have anything to wear with them so this will definitely help with some of my wardrobe dilemmas!

This dress was actually in the sale from Motel Rocks and i can definitely see myself getting a lot of wear out of this in the summer as its pretty thin and its also sleeveless, so not a typical dress for winter! I love anything nautical themed or anything with stripes though and adding the cardi adds suitable warmth to this outfit!

I hope you're all having a love weekend whatever you're up to! I'm going back to uni tomorrow so its time to wave bye to this background for my outfit posts for a while haha. Despite the masses of work that third year brings i will try my best to post every other day!

What do you think of this outfit? What sale bargains have you picked up this year?

OOTD | Sports Luxe

Top - H&M
Skort - Primark
Shoes - Schuh (old)
Bag - day a day (Spain)
Watch - Michael Kors

Happy new year to all!! I hope you all had a fantastic new years eve and are all well recovered from it now! This is the first outfit post of 2014 eek, i really struggled with the lighting again this morning so the new year has made no difference in that respect! So excuse all the different locations i shot in and the washing line haha! Oops.

Every blogger and their dog had a Zara skort of some kind in the summer so i'm super late in jumping on the bandwagon for this one! Although i managed to find this in Primark for a mere £10!! I had to snap it up and i know i will get loads of wear out of it throughout the winter with tights and also in the summer, the fit of it is really smart so it could be easily worn to work as well. To make it more casual i teamed it with this sport luxe top that i bought in the summer and there are so many like this in the shops now like Topshop for example, i really need to refrain myself from buying anymore from that shop!!The sports Luxe trend is still very much in and i love how casual this look is as some days i really cant be bothered in making much of an effort!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like the sport luxe trend?

OOTN | Back to black

Top - Primark
Skirt - Topshop
Shoes - Kurt Geiger
Watch - Michael Kors

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend! I always think there's such a big gap between Christmas day and New Years eve and that there isnt too much to do at all apart from eat the leftover foods! Last night was one of my friends 21st so it was a great chance to catch up with my old school friends that i have not seen in about 2 years so i had a really good night despite the horrible rainy and windy weather! I thought i would share with you what i wore on the night, i apologise about the background of these pictures, outside outfit pictures are not happening at the moment, living in the South West and by the sea means that it has rained most days since being home boo!

Anyway despite how rubbish i think the sales are this year i spotted this gorgeous net cut out velvet long sleeve top for £3 in the sale in primark which is insanely cheap and even at its full price of £6, it would look great in the day as well with high waisted jeans or a casual skirt! I thought i would treat myself to something for the night in my favourite shop, this skirt is really deceiving as it looks like it would be really hard to the touch but its actually surprisingly fluffy, i love it so much and i can see myself wearing this a lot this year as it will go with so many tops i already have!

What do you think of this outfit? What sale finds have you found? What are your plans for NYE?

OOTD | Tartan Trousers

Top - Urban Outfitters
Tartan trousers - Motel Rocks
Fur collar - Topshop
Necklace - Ebay
Boots* - Bank
I hope you're all having a lovely relaxing weekend before Christmas! If its anything like mine then it wont be, i have frantically been round the shops this morning in a bid to finish my Christmas shopping and i have finally finished! I really am not leaving it so last minute next year, there are far too many people around for my liking!

Anyway a couple of weeks ago i was lucky enough to win Crystalcosmicchic giveaway of anything up to the value of £70 from Motel Rocks. I had been having a rubbish weekend and i really couldn't believe it when i found out i won as i never win anything! I love Motel Rocks so much so of course i had a few ideas in my head of what i would like and as you can see i picked out these amazing tartan trousers and a dress which will be gracing an outfit post very soon!

This type of tartan isn't the typical red you get and its very much in your face so it looks great with this simple black cropped long sleeve top and i just had to bring in my fur collar again which i'm still very much in love with!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like tartan? Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?

OOTD | 70's Sheepskin

Coat - Vintage
Blouse - Hollister
Skirt - Urban Outfitters
Tights - Primark
Necklace - New Look
Boots - Next (old)

Well how lucky am i?! I managed to get these outfit pictures this morning 5 minutes before the rain started, what a relief! This weather really is playing havoc with getting decent outfit photos at the moment, how do you all manage to get yours?I need some tips!

This coat was passed down to me by my Mum and it is amazing! It is a sheepskin coat from the 70's and coats really aren't made to such good quality nowadays as this. Its crazy to think how old an item of clothing can be and without sounding mad what memories come with the coat, for a start its seen many different winters and different owners, but now i have it in my possession i'm not letting it go! Its so warm and different to the conventional fur coats, i actually haven't seen any like this in mainstream stores this season.

I'm finally wearing a different pair of shoes in an outfit post, hallelujah i hear you cry! These boots are actually quite old but i love the length and fit of them, i think they were pretty cheap at the time too. I'm definitely after a new pair though when all the sales hit on Boxing day, who else cant wait for the sales?!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like vintage clothes? How do you cope with taking outfit pictures in the winter?

Necklace - New Look
Cuff Bracelet* - Birdy accesories
Tights - Primark
Shoes - primark
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Just to let you all know that the blog made the exciting transition over to sleek-chic.co.uk this weekend! I think it was the right time to make the move as i have been blogging for almost 5 months now and i wanted it done in time for the new year!

Anyway onto today's outfit! The gorgeous bracelet that i'm wearing is from the lovely blogger Jay Chapman who has recently launched a new online shop called Birdy accessories which stocks various pieces of jewellery and some stunning phone covers. This cuff bracelet is available in gold online which is another versatile colour like silver and really does go with most outfits and colours! I love the little chain on the bracelet too and it goes perfectly with this outfit!

I picked this dress up in Primark on the weekend for £13!!! I love finding gems like this in primark and the quality of it is fab. The velvet pattern looks so nice against the grey and the fit of it is so flattering. I think most people will be surprised that this is from Primark!

Thanks for reading and please go and check out Birdy accessories there are some gorgeous pieces online! What do you think of this outfit? Do you like the bracelet? What kind of jewellery do you like to wear?
