OOTD | Sequins

Sequin-jumper-topshop

Jumper - Topshop (sale)
Disco Pants - American Apparel
Shoes - Primark
Necklace - New Look

Happy hump day! I'm so glad we are half way through the week, i'm tired of this first week back at uni already! Anyway, despite my disappointment with the sales this year this sequinned jumper from Topshop is probably my best find! It was originally £42 but i bagged it for only £15!! I love all of the sequin items of clothing that Topshop sell but they always come with a hefty price tag so it was inevitable that i was going to take this home!

What i love about this cropped jumper is that you can wear it casually in the day with jeans and also in the evening with a bodycon skirt or disco pants like this! I'm also excited to wear this in the summer with some white skinny jeans! I also found these beautiful Mary Jane shoes from Primark of all places,it must be their spring stock already but the colour matches perfectly with this jumper and they were only £8, i can see myself getting so much wear out of them like my black ones that i also have from Primark!

I hope that you are all having a good week and thanks for reading! What do you think of this outfit? What have your best sale finds been?

OOTD | Sports Luxe

Top - H&M
Skort - Primark
Shoes - Schuh (old)
Bag - day a day (Spain)
Watch - Michael Kors

Happy new year to all!! I hope you all had a fantastic new years eve and are all well recovered from it now! This is the first outfit post of 2014 eek, i really struggled with the lighting again this morning so the new year has made no difference in that respect! So excuse all the different locations i shot in and the washing line haha! Oops.

Every blogger and their dog had a Zara skort of some kind in the summer so i'm super late in jumping on the bandwagon for this one! Although i managed to find this in Primark for a mere £10!! I had to snap it up and i know i will get loads of wear out of it throughout the winter with tights and also in the summer, the fit of it is really smart so it could be easily worn to work as well. To make it more casual i teamed it with this sport luxe top that i bought in the summer and there are so many like this in the shops now like Topshop for example, i really need to refrain myself from buying anymore from that shop!!The sports Luxe trend is still very much in and i love how casual this look is as some days i really cant be bothered in making much of an effort!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like the sport luxe trend?

OOTN | Back to black

Top - Primark
Skirt - Topshop
Shoes - Kurt Geiger
Watch - Michael Kors

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend! I always think there's such a big gap between Christmas day and New Years eve and that there isnt too much to do at all apart from eat the leftover foods! Last night was one of my friends 21st so it was a great chance to catch up with my old school friends that i have not seen in about 2 years so i had a really good night despite the horrible rainy and windy weather! I thought i would share with you what i wore on the night, i apologise about the background of these pictures, outside outfit pictures are not happening at the moment, living in the South West and by the sea means that it has rained most days since being home boo!

Anyway despite how rubbish i think the sales are this year i spotted this gorgeous net cut out velvet long sleeve top for £3 in the sale in primark which is insanely cheap and even at its full price of £6, it would look great in the day as well with high waisted jeans or a casual skirt! I thought i would treat myself to something for the night in my favourite shop, this skirt is really deceiving as it looks like it would be really hard to the touch but its actually surprisingly fluffy, i love it so much and i can see myself wearing this a lot this year as it will go with so many tops i already have!

What do you think of this outfit? What sale finds have you found? What are your plans for NYE?

Dress - Primark
Necklace - New Look
Cuff Bracelet* - Birdy accesories
Tights - Primark
Shoes - primark
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Just to let you all know that the blog made the exciting transition over to sleek-chic.co.uk this weekend! I think it was the right time to make the move as i have been blogging for almost 5 months now and i wanted it done in time for the new year!

Anyway onto today's outfit! The gorgeous bracelet that i'm wearing is from the lovely blogger Jay Chapman who has recently launched a new online shop called Birdy accessories which stocks various pieces of jewellery and some stunning phone covers. This cuff bracelet is available in gold online which is another versatile colour like silver and really does go with most outfits and colours! I love the little chain on the bracelet too and it goes perfectly with this outfit!

I picked this dress up in Primark on the weekend for £13!!! I love finding gems like this in primark and the quality of it is fab. The velvet pattern looks so nice against the grey and the fit of it is so flattering. I think most people will be surprised that this is from Primark!

Thanks for reading and please go and check out Birdy accessories there are some gorgeous pieces online! What do you think of this outfit? Do you like the bracelet? What kind of jewellery do you like to wear?

OOTD | Faux fur waistcoat

Fur Gilet - Bershka (old)
Top -Primark
Skirt -Topshop
Tights - Primark
Necklace - Miss Selfridge (old)
Boots* - Bank
Happy Weekend to you all! I hope you are having relaxing weekend and you are excited to start your advent calendars tomorrow! I have just opted for the traditional chocolate one this year, the beauty calendars really do appeal to me and i think they are an amazing idea but i just cant justify the price for items that i probably wont use! Maybe another year though, what advent calendars have all of you got?!

I have always been a fan of patterned tights and they can really jazz up and make any outfit look a bit different! I got these from Primark a while ago for a mere £1.50! I love Primark's wide selection of hosiery but if i was opting for a more expensive make it would definitely be Pretty Polly or Calzedonia and they are probably a lot better quality as i find these unfortunately ladder after a few wears.

It wouldn't be one of my favourite outfits without a bit of fur thrown in there haha! This fur gilet is seriously old now but they never really go out of fashion and they are a great for adding an extra bit of warmth to an outfit!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like patterned tights? What advent calendars are you all going to be opening tomorrow?

OOTD | Christmas Jumper

Jumper - Primark
Jeans - Abercrombie
Scarf - Primark
Shoes - Converse
Mitts - Hand knitted by my mummy!

Seeing as its almost December and the weather is getting pretty chilly i thought it was about time i pull the chistmas jumpers out which by the way is my favourite item of clothing to match my favourite time of the year, who doesnt love christmas?! In true Primark style they have piles and piles of the novelty jumpers this year, i picked this one out for my birthday which i love because it doesn't scream out Christmas to you and it can be worn at anytime time in the cold months and not just for the festive period. The jumper makes a nice casual outfit and the penguin on the front is so fluffy and cute! When its cold weather the last thing i feel like doing is dressing up in cold outfits and heels, this is definitely more my style at this time of the year!

I also had to show you these gorgeous mitts that my mum knitted for me, how amazing are they?! The Norwegian pattern is so intricate and i really cant get my head round how you do it as I've tried to learn how to knit so many times and have only ever mastered the basic stitch! My mum has also knitted me socks, cardigans and phone cases in the past and now she is even making Christmas decorations which are just the cutest, she really is very talented! I will be sure to feature them in a blog post soon!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like Christmas jumpers? Can you knit?

OOTD | Fur Hat

Turtle neck sweater - Primark
Shorts - Topshop
Necklace - Ebay
Tights - Primark
Shoes - Primark
Fur hat - Flea market in Finland

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend! I am visiting home this weekend and i am loving being back, its nice to have a few chill out days with all the university work i have had recently as well as home comforts such as a bath! 2 months without baths and lush bath bombs is too long! Im also off to the south west bloggers meet today! Its my first event so I'm super excited/nervous at the same time, there will definitely be a blog post up on it later this week!

Running with the fur theme this week is this gorgeous mink fur hat that i picked up from a flea market in Finland for 10 euros, its very old but in such good condition. I don't usually like real fur but in Finland it was something that most people wore as you really need something that you know will keep you warm! Its definitely got SO cold here recently so its very appropriate to wear again!

I picked up my first turtle neck sweater from primark last week and i love it! They are all now in the sale for only £3 so i think I'm going to have to go back and purchase it in more colours!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like fur hats?

OOTD | Plaid blouse

Blouse - Hollister
Skirt - Primark
Cardigan - Abercrombie (old)
Shoes - Primark
Bag - Ted Baker

Hello everyone i hope you're all having a lovely weekend and the sun is shining for once! I have been praying for some decent weather this week and with the rain i have been unable to get as many outfit pictures as i would have liked and today the light was so bright i struggled to get the pictures that weren't too bright haha silly British weather!

I also wore a coat with this as its got soo cold this last week! I've also just realised in a  lot of my recent outfit posts i look like i'm going to school or something haha that's not intentional! Anyway, When there was a sale in Hollister a few weeks ago i picked this blouse up,its quite thin but i like the plaid/tartan pattern and the peplum to it although its not exactly fitted. I featured this skirt in an outfit post a while back but i'm obsessed with the fit of it and love the quilted texture and from primark i really am impressed by it and its actually in the sale now for only £5!

I hope you enjoyed reading, i have lots more outfit posts to come this week featuring some of my new fur purchases so keep an eye out!

What do you think of this outfit? What are you loving from primark at the moment?
