Happy Weekend to you all! I hope you are having relaxing weekend and you are excited to start your advent calendars tomorrow! I have just opted for the traditional chocolate one this year, the beauty calendars really do appeal to me and i think they are an amazing idea but i just cant justify the price for items that i probably wont use! Maybe another year though, what advent calendars have all of you got?!

I have always been a fan of patterned tights and they can really jazz up and make any outfit look a bit different! I got these from Primark a while ago for a mere £1.50! I love Primark's wide selection of hosiery but if i was opting for a more expensive make it would definitely be Pretty Polly or Calzedonia and they are probably a lot better quality as i find these unfortunately ladder after a few wears.

It wouldn't be one of my favourite outfits without a bit of fur thrown in there haha! This fur gilet is seriously old now but they never really go out of fashion and they are a great for adding an extra bit of warmth to an outfit!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like patterned tights? What advent calendars are you all going to be opening tomorrow?

OOTD 'Black & Gold'

Faux leather jacket - Bershka (old)
Cropped long sleeve top - Urban Outfitters
Skirt - Topshop (old)
Tights - Primark
Boots - Ruby Rocks
Necklace - Topshop
Rucksack - Topshop

Happy Friday!! I'm sure i am not the only one who is looking forward to this weekend,i know i say this all the time but time is literally flying by at the moment which is quite scary as it means i will be facing never ending uni work soon *sob*.

Anyway,i love this look that i wore yesterday, its smart yet the biker jacket makes it look a bit more casual. I have had this skirt for 2 years and i have literally only worn it once and i have recently rekindled my love for it, the texture of it is stunning, its not velvet but it feels soft one way and rough the other,i guess the material would be referred to as crushed or piled, anyway i think its beautiful and really stands out against the black clothing. As its high waisted it goes perfectly with my new cropped long sleeve top and the contrasting ribbed texture really compliments the skirt.

The necklace is also one of my new favs from topshop, which i got for £9 with student discount. I am on the look out for some more statement necklaces for winter though as i constantly seem to be re wearing the same ones!

I hope you all have a lovely relaxing weekend :)!What do you think about this outfit? Do you know of any nice statement necklaces around?
