Spring clothing haul!

Okay, so its definitely not Spring yet..But as soon as the new stock flies into the stores in the middle of winter I've already had enough of chunky knits, coats and boots. I feel like it's already been an eternity without wearing pretty pastel/candy coloured clothing and I am so ready for all the new trends this season. This is more of a collective haul over the last few weeks or so as some of these bits have already been featured in some outfit posts, but nevertheless there's some real beauties that I've been haulin'!
Too many pretty pastels...
Pastel blouse BikBok
Skirt BikBok
The top three items are all from BikBok - best shop ever FYI! I discovered this shop when I lived in Finland and it is by far the best Scandinavian shop out there, I absolutely love their stuff and the prices are very reasonable, it's probably most like Forever21. I always thought how strange it was that I would be buying spring clothes from there when it was like -30 degrees outside but hey it gives us something to look forward to even when we are freezing to death! The shirt has to be my favourite purchase ever! The colours are spot on for me, I'm definitely a pastel princess throughout spring/summer. The floaty style of this shirt will be great for dressing over skinnies or over shorts in the summer, I think it might be a bit too short to get away with it as a dress, but either way I really cant wait to start wearing this when the weather warms up. The skirt and the top are just a couple basics that I also picked up, the baby blue pleated skirt is beautiful and I haven't really seen anything like this in the UK. Anyway, BikBok is definitely worth checking out if you've not heard of them before, it's not that clear on the website whether they even ship outside to the UK but it would probably cost a lot anyway. It definitely makes those trips back to Finland worth it!
Raw hem Topshop Leigh Jeans
Cropped Tee Topshop
Topshop is always my go to place for jeans, either joni or leigh, they are the perfect fit for me and these light coloured wash ones are the ideal colour for spring and for dressing with pastels. I love this cute little cropped tee too, I can imagine this will look great with an added bomber jacket or a denim shirt for a double denim look.
Oh you so fluffy! The much loved lilac matching bag to this has now got a new friend, I found the last one of these in the sale marked down to £15, so naturally it had to be mine. Ask any of my close friends and family, I am a total magpie when it comes to fluffy things!
Primark are on point with their jackets this year and I picked these two up quite recently. I've already styled the bright one in one of my latest OOTDs (here). The pastel checked one is perfection and I am already planning some sickeningly, sweet, pastelly (definitely not a word!) outfits with this one!
Primark
I'm also a magpie when it comes to stripes, it looks vaguely familiar to one I used to dress up in when I was a child but it works for me! I love the pleated hem to this top too which makes it totally different to my 101 other striped tops...
Striped Jumper New Look
Again I featured this in my last nautical outfit post, so you can see how I've styled it there! It's such an effortlessly chic jumper which can be styled in so many more ways.

What do you think of my spring haul? Whats your favourite thing? What have you been buying lately?

Lush Cosmetics haul!

Lush cosmetics is the only place I turn to for goodies for my bath. When Lush were posting Instagram teasers of their valentines range a few weeks ago I was beyond excited! I had a lush gift card for Christmas so I went a bit wild in store but tried to restrain myself from buying too much as it's nice to go in and treat myself to the odd bath bomb or two every now and then! I didn't just buy from their valentines range as bath ballistics are my favourite over bath melts so I picked up a little selection of some gorgeous smelling products...
Meanwhile in the Lush Plymouth store...
The nicest smelling bag in the world.
I picked up 5 gorgeous products, 3 being from their new valentines range...
Unicorn Horn bubble bar £3.25
This is without a doubt my favourite from the Valentines collection, not sure what it's relevance is to the big day itself, but unicorns seem to be the thing at the moment and this bubble bar looks amazing!! I can imagine it will make a beautiful multi coloured bath and it also smells of lavender which is the perfect smell to bathe in to relax and to help you sleep!
Heart Throb bubble bar £3.65 This cute little one looks like a little macaroon, but a heart shaped one with a glitter filling! This will make for a perfect red, valentines bath.
Love Locket bath bomb £6.95 I nearly had a heart attack at the price of this one... Almost £7 for one bath bomb!! However, there is a hidden shaped heart within it so I think I could get a few uses out of this bath bomb. It was definitely something I couldn't leave lush without.
Sex Bomb bath bomb £3.35  The next two bath bombs aren't part of the valentines range but they definitely could make the cut! This bath ballistic contains lots of different sensual oils which are great for de-stressing and relaxing, something I really am in need of right now!
Think Pink bath bomb £2.65  I just loved the look of this one, the mini flowers really remind me of spring, in the hope that the cold weather will fade soon! It also contains rice paper confetti of hearts which will make for the prettiest smelling bath, pretty much like all of their bath bombs!

I have a lot of bathing to do now I think!! I am in love with their whole valentines range and there are a still a few other bits that I want to pick up like the Kiss lip scrub , I absolutely adore their lip scrubs anyway but this one even contains real hundreds and thousands, amazing huh?!

I hope you all have a fab weekend! What do you think of the Lush Valentines collection? What have you been buying from there recently? What are your favourite Lush products?

Christmas-Presents
Weeks were spent in anticipation for Christmas day which as always the big day flashed before our eyes! I had the best Christmas and was lucky enough to get Boxing day off work too at the last minute which I was eternally grateful for as I landed myself a horrible cold which was probably overdue seeing as I hadn't had one in 2 years!! Anyway, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas too? I feel incredibly lucky for the lovely presents I received from my family and James, and like I did last year I thought I would share with you what I got! I love having a good nosey at what other bloggers got for Christmas too so please link me up below if you've also shared your presents! I'll let the presents do the talking in this post, enjoy!

Hair towel wraps and a frog shower cap!
H&M boots! I pretty much searched 30 H&M stores in the UK for these, finally found these in London, they are soooo gorgeous and well worth the wait!!

Christmas Homeware Haul!

It's officially one month until Christmas eek! I am so excited now that it's almost acceptable listen to endless Christmas songs, decorate the tree and start wrapping presents! In preparation I have been buying some pretty Christmas homeware bits from various places and I really wanted to share with you all what I got! There are some really nice bits in the shops this year, my favourite shop for Christmas stuff has to be John Lewis, I don't think their prices are too unreasonable either.
Candle holder - John Lewis
John Lewis had three like this, you could either get one with a tree, heart or star attached to the holder. I loved the tree one but thought this would be suitable all year round. I'm not one for scented candles and much prefer tea lights so this jar will be perfect for my room!
Wooden decorations - John Lewis £2.50 each
I absolutely love the white colour wash of these decorations, they are really shabby chic and I just love the simplicity of them! I probably won't be hanging these on my tree but on my noticeboard or something like that!
Mug - Steamer Trading Cook Shop £4.99
I probably own a cupboard full of mugs already but I don't think I even own a Christmas one! The cookware shop was new in Southampton so I thought it was necessary to make a purchase, I can't wait to start using this one for Christmas!
Duvet - Primark £12
Primark do the best duvets for Christmas and at only £12 each its not going to break the bank! I picked this one as it's definitely acceptable to use for all of the wintry period. It also matches my blanket in the background (also primark)!
Pot - Ikea
So, pretty much all bloggers own or have seen the infamous Ikea pots that people use for makeup brushes and other various things. I have the white and pink ones but thought that I just needed a red one for the festive period!
Napkins - Ikea
A fairly boring buy but I love buying pretty napkins for Christmas, I always love setting the table nicely on Christmas day!
Tea Towel - Primark
The most adorable tea towel I have ever seen! I have developed quite an obsession with pugs this year, I can't have my own so this is the next best thing hey?!
Decorative star lights* - LED Hut
Last but not least are these adorable star battery operated lights. I seem to buy more and more each year as they just look so pretty. The battery operated ones for me are the best as it means that they can be transported around the house and used anywhere. This string of lights is 1.9m so they stretch pretty far, they are also on a wired string so they could be wrapped around a jar, vase or anything for that matter. They look perfect as a backdrop for blog photos too!

So that's my first Christmas homeware haul! If you can't get enough of Christmas like me then I have a few other Christmas related blog posts that you might like to read including; Christmas Wrapping DIY, decorations from The Christmas Boutique and of course my pick of my favourite Christmas Jumpers!

What do you think of my Christmas homeware haul? Whats your favourite item? When will you put your decorations up?
