Back to School Bags.

Every year before i have gone back to school or university it has always been a tradition of mine to start the new year with a new bag!This year is no exception! I am loving that rucksacks are coming back into fashion they are much more forgiving on the back and so much easier to carry,as well as being super cute! Here are some of my top picks of school bags.

I want every single one of these bags as they are all different in their own ways and they are all quite reasonably priced and some shops also have offers on at the moment.Regarding number 8 there is also a dupe of this in Primark at the moment which priced around £5 i think, such a great bargain.Now i have to try my best at whittling it down to just one!

OOTD | H&M

Hello everyone! Well this is my first outfit post so be nice! I struggled with finding some good lighting for these photos but i think they turned out okay.

I have wanted a pair of white jeans for so long now but have never found 'the pair', anyway i was in H&M on Saturday trawling through the sale items and found the last pair of these and in my size what are the chances?! Even better they were only £7, you really cant go wrong. I also picked up this sport luxe jersey style top there for £12.99 which i absolutely love. I'm wearing this with my favourite boat shoes which i purchased from the states a few years ago from Sperry,they are such great long lasting shoes i highly recommend!

Cruise formal nights..The outfits!

Who doesn't love getting dressed up to the nines every once in a while?! Before going on the cruise i was actually most looking forward to the formal nights where the dress code is smart. I have never seen so many gorgeous dresses in my life,it definitely gave me some food for thought. Here is what i wore;

 My favourite dress i wore was my Scala sequinned dress, Scala sells some gorgeous dresses check them out here. It is an American brand but i purchased mine in a boutique in Exeter and i know that there are many other stockists in the UK. It was an expensive dress but i had it for my 18th birthday and its one of those dresses that is timeless and can be worn again and again as long as you have a special occasion to wear it for.

The purple dress is from Lipsy and is a nice simple backless dress which i teamed with a vintage handbag which my grandma passed down to me, its something that you couldn't buy nowadays and she purchased it for a mere 12 shillings and 8 pence in Malta which is roughly 75p, bargain!!!

The final dress i wore is the red number and this was from Red Herring in Debenhams. This was also purchased a few years ago and it again is fancy without being too in your face. The feather clutch i wore this with is from Biba, i saw this clutch in House Of Fraser a few months ago and it was love at first sight! Sadly looking at the price tag it was £180, definitely out of my price range. However, a few weeks later it had been reduced to £49.50 i couldn't believe my luck so that one was mine!

First time cruiser!

I recently embarked on my first cruise which was with Royal Caribbean on the Independence Of The Seas and it was a Mediterranean cruise for 2 weeks. The port of calls were Vigo, Lisbon,Gibraltar,Valencia,Barcelona,Ibiza,Palma de Mallorca and Cadiz.Choosing a cruise for a holiday had never been something that i ever thought about and i often associated it with something that older people enjoyed. When my parents asked if i wanted to join them and my sister i jumped at the chance. Needless to say it exceeded any expectations i had beforehand.

Upon arriving to Southampton which is where we would embark for our cruise, the car parking there was so easy and our luggage was taken away to then be delivered outside our cabins later that day..how convenient! We were able to check in at 2pm to our cabins and our bags were already waiting there for us.

The cabin - We had an inside stateroom cabin, my visions of it beforehand were of a tiny room on a local ferry crossing! I was so shocked at actually how big the room was,with 2 single beds a sofa and also plenty of storage spaces for all of our clothes! Our stateroom attendant was called Alfina and her service was fantastic,nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were cleaned twice daily. Every alternate day they also left behind a towel animal ranging from a bat to a dog, such a great touch and something i always got excited about seeing in the evening!

The dining options - We were with my time dining and our dining room was King Lear on deck 5, most nights when we returned we were on the same table and always had the same waiters who were both from the Philippines which i loved as it was nice to build a friendship with them. Again the service was second to none and we were always well fed and the meals i did enjoy, however as i am a fussy eater i ate the chicken breast meal for two weeks, to say i was bored by the end was an understatement! But for those who enjoy eating different cuisines this is fantastic for you. For all other occasions of breakfast,lunch and dinner and also snacks on those days when we were at port the Windjammer buffet catered to those needs. I have never seen so much food in my life!!!They really did cater for all your needs including special dietary needs, for children and foods from different countries. It enables you to try a bit of everything and eat as much or a little as you like. I loved the buffet but it really is hard to resist those cakes!!

The entertainment - Every night there would be a show on in the Alhambra Theatre which would be on at two different times so you were able to fit it around your dining time so you would never miss out. All the acts i saw were brilliant including a hypnotist,Queen tribute act,magician,love and marriage show,dancers,comedians my list could go on. They also had an ice rink where there were a few shows throughout the cruise this was fantastic to watch and hard to believe you could do all of this at sea!

Needless to say i could write pages and pages about this holiday but this is a summary of the cruise and i will try to do some more in depth blog posts in the next week or so! I honestly did have the most amazing holiday on my first cruise and i think i will find it hard to have a holiday which comes close to this.I really do recommend a cruise 100%!!
