OOTD | Nautical

Blazer - H&M (old)
Breton striped top - H&M
Skirt - Abercrombie
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Tights - Primark
Boots* - Banks

As you can tell from the back drop of my pictures i am finally back home for Christmas!! There really is no better feeeling than coming home as although i love university and the independence i really miss the home comforts and how clean and quiet it is here as well as getting to see my family! Most of the stress is out of the way now so expect lots of outfit posts these next three weeks!I also did a spot of shopping today and got some gorgeous new pieces so i cant wait to wear them all!

I've gone for a nautical look today, i am a big fan of the colour blue and i love the different textures and patterns together. Its all going on with the velvet skirt, pin striped blazer and striped top and i think it works quite well! The blazer is actually like 2 years old, its crazy what i find in my wardrobe when i come back home haha! The nautical theme is also set to be a big trend this summer so i'm super excited  for more blue and stripes!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like the nautical trend?

OOTD | Geek Chic

Jumper - Topshop (old)
Blouse - Hollister
Jeans - Abercrombie
Necklace - BikBok
Shoes - Ugg
Rucksack - Topshop
Glasses - Karen Millen

I hope you are all having a good week, its nearly the weekend yey!! As always i have been busy with uni work but had some time to get some outfit pictures,i think this outfit is really preppy and college like! Just to point out i do actually need glasses and these aren't just a fashion accessory haha!

I love this jumper and also lived in it last winter, baggy jumpers are so cosy and go with all skinny jeans, leggings, bodycon skirts etc, they're so versatile! I layered this with an embellished blouse and my favourite necklace which is from BikBok,it is definitely my favourite shop in scandinavian countries! If you look closely you can see one of the gems has fallen out though,it makes me so sad when that happens to your favourite jewellery, but its not going to stop me from wearing it!

These are my favourite jeans of all time!! I barely wear jeans these days but i love the colour wash of the denim and the rips in the fabric.

Thanks for reading! What do you think of this outfit? Do you love baggy jumpers too?

Tartan on trend

Tartan skirt - Abercrombie//Black bodysuit - Asos//Rucksack - Topshop// Socks - Jack Wills// Boots - Kurt Geiger

Its no secret that i love shopping in Abercombie,i just love the whole experience including the badly lit shop, awfully loud music, dancing employees and ridiculously overpriced clothing, yet i still return! Hopefully i will grow out of this phase soon. Anyway, i picked this tartan skirt up in New York last year and i'm hoping to get some more wear out of it this year now that Tartan is really making a come back. I paired it with a really simple racer back bodysuit from Asos which i love as its a fail safe with most outfits! I finally decided on a rucksack for going back to uni and i picked up this acid wash bag in Topshop yesterday for £30 i love this look at the moment, probably no good for when it rains though oops!

Lastly for my feet i'm wearing my trusty kurt geiger boots which i bought a few years ago and they have been a real investment as i have worn them to death, i'm also wearing wool knee high socks from jack wills which i got a few years ago and were a waste of money, since then i've bought plenty more from Primark for a fraction of the price!

I hope you enjoyed reading my outfit post and you are all having a lovely weekend, what do you think?
